Anybody that has a pickle forklift with the 4BT upgrade, be advised the fuel solenoid is 12 volts, I put 24 to it and nearly caught the thing on fire when the solenoid and harness burned up.
EDIT: BAD INFO above, the solenoid is 24 volts, stupid me jumped the pull in wire to constant volts...
Nope not a RRAD install.

That is the chassis vent, all the gear cases and axles vent to that point, and yes, supposed to have filter material in there. I just looked at the LO and nothing real special about it, 85W90 gear oil in the axles and transfer, good EP grease in the zerks and wheel bearings.

Congratulations on your purchase. The lube order “LO” calls for OE30 (OE means oil engine) for the engine, which translates to 10W30. Most of us use Dexron ATF in the transmission, which is 10 weight oil with additives needed by automatic transmissions.
Welcome Our Murphy. Yup these trucks are 40 years old and lots of parts are at the end of shelf life. Once you debug all these systems you will have a reliable truck.
Since the brake system is not much different than any dual circuit light truck, I would “bench bleed” the master cyl to make sure no air is trapped in there.
