Electrical problem - from battery to starter buton

I would check your wires coming out of the main power switch on down to your starter switch. Disconnect the starter switch on the dash and check the ohms, without pushing it in, there should be no signs of a connection. Also check each wire from the solenoid to their end point for any signs of a...

    10 KW Onan generator

Where can I find info on doing the neutral mod? I would like to run this on either 240 or 120 without switching plates all the time.

    10 KW Onan generator

I am buying a generator from a friend, I got a good deal on it, anyway it is a 10 KW 240V and 120V with a Willys-Overland 4 cyl for power. Does anybody know anything about these and how I can find a date of MFG. I looked on the data plates but they are blank in the date box. I will post pics...

    Not another M109 camper conversion

Well we went camping from Fri. morning to today, Sun. afternoon. We left town and started to the mountain, things are good. Got into the rolling hills outside of town and started getting a little coolant coming in around a bolt on the floor board. ( I think I have a cracked head at the back...

That is why it is a hobby though, right zout? I still need to build a skid plate under the drain tank and a few other things. I will be testing it out this upcoming weekend so I will post some pics of the trip to let you know how it turns out. I have now named it HaRVey. The "H" for the first...

    New Member/New Deuce/More Work!

There is an operators manual in the TM section of the resources, you will have to scroll through and find it also there are all the other manuals for it and other vehicles as well. There may be somebody in the classified section selling any manual you want for it if you don't feel like printing...

The grey water tank is all plumbed in now and works great. M109guy thanks for turning me on to this tank, it worked out real well. You are the one that inspired this whole build. The first two pics show the plumbing out of the floor and the third shows I used the factory holes in the frame of...

Clean out your tank and change your filters. I would also determine what was wrong with the original pump. The turbo thing all I can say is take your time and do it right. The bolts on the back of the turbo to manifold can be a pain but you can remove it without taking the manifold out, I know...

Yes that is a great idea but I don't like to do things that easy. Besides if I didn't have this headache I would be lost.aua

Here are some more of my pics from the waste tank install. Pic one is one of the hangers with some weatherstrip to keep the rubbing down to a minimum. Pic two shows one of the hangers in the back where it bolts to the cross member just forward of the tank. I used the factory holes in the cross...

Ok now I have the grey water tank installed but have to do the plumbing yet. The first picture shows a 1X4 I used as a anti-rub for the bottom of the unit and the top of the tank. Second I used a piece of shower surround I had left over and some plastic cement, then used some screws and some...

Now I got my furnace in. It is a gravity furnace from an old camper in the junk yard here in town. I had to get a new safety valve for it which proved to be almost impossible. It seems all you can get for safety valves anymore require a transformer and so on so I ended up getting a valve for a...

So you think your turbo gets warm

When I worked in the oilfield we had some pump trucks that while fracing the well we could watch the turbo on the big Cat and Cummins V-12's get so red that at night you could see the turbine inside. The more pressure they came up against along with volume would create horspower that was almost...

Question about what oil to run in my deuce?

I use it in all my semi trucks and use it in my deuce. My oil samples from my semi truck always come back with great results. I will never use any other oil in my Kenworth, or my deuce. I forgot to add that the semi trucks go upwards of a million miles before we think of doing any work to them.

Well my free time has been used well with the conversion. Here are some pics of what I have done. I only have a few things to do yet and then it is camping time. The first two show the beds, and the third and fourth show my little drop leaf table for counter space and other odds and ends. The...

    Wyoming deuce and 5ton owners

Less members but a lot more trucks in Montana. I have spotted quite few in different parts of Montana while driving around and around. Most of them are not for sale too, I have asked.

    Wyoming deuce and 5ton owners

Who here is from Wyoming? I know of a few members but have seen a few trucks recently that I don't know if they are members. I saw an M35 A3 outside of Rock Springs and a 5 ton coming out of TenSleep. How about a Wyoming member roll call? After seeing the 5 ton I was excited because there were...

    Teton Pass Deuce?

At that time I had a different IP on there so I could not tell you. When I finally got to Fruitland it broke down and I had to have the IP replaced. I also was a bit more stupid at that time and did 62 mph on the flats. I just was in the habit of "hold it to the floor" which is what we did in...
