Has anyone been refused at a car show because they drove a MILITARY VEHICAL?

I don't get out to our local cruise in very often but when I do they are always excited ti hear me whistling up. Sounds like you are probably better off with out them if the are "those people"

    King of the rattle can

My truck didn't look bad when I got it but it was solid tan.... I mean not a speck of black on it except for the exhaust stack. All the stenciling and other black you see has been from a rattle can (Rustoleum Flat Black Professional) I plan on continuing this path and blacking out the wheels and...

No too often you see between 6" & 10" of snow in Middle Tennessee, had to get the old girl out & see how she did!

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Yes, the "U" brackets were still fine but by reusing them I would not have narrowed the truck any.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

    Oshkosh M1070 HETT

Stopped today & looked at a M1070, kind of toying around with the idea of buying it. Looking for advice on this MV in particular. Look fors, look out fors, reasons why, why not to buy. I am pretty new to the MV hobby in general, right now I have had my M35A2 for about 4 months. Obviously this is...

Average Joe's first Deuce - Mods Thread

I also have recently made magnets for the doors, I made a set of the stars just because I liked them but I also made my company logo and company info magnets. The company magnets are to help with what the truck was intended for in the first place.... to help draw attention to the business...

I made them myself, I have vinyl wrap that would be normally used to wrap an entire vehicle. I used a vinyl die cutter that would usually be used to cut stickers for windows or such. I cut all the lettering and weeded out the letters themselves in turn making stencils. By doing it this way, when...

100% agree, the mechanics come first! I purposely bought a truck that was pretty mechanically sound to start with. This is why before the astetics I was changing all the fluids, filters and draining old gas along with cleaning the fuel tank and flushing the system with fresh fuel. So far the...

Today I finished up media blasting 6,7,8? layers of paint off the steps and Jerry can holder, also media blasted the jerry can tool box (just couldn't do the red) My truck was missing the jerry can all together and I didn't think I really need a real jerry can to ru around town, the tool box...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

My truck has been setting in a conditioned warehouse since 2009, I've had it for about 3 months myself. I washed it today, it was only after I washed it I realized how ditry/ black my tan paint was. Looks like a whole other truck now. It was painted @ Toole in 1990.

I learned this past weekend the hard way that the braking system on the M35A2 trucks are a little lacking. Never really gave much thought to the brakes before, they worked good when I got the truck.... Never thought much about it untill my brake pedal went all the way to the floor Sat. morning...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Finally making some progress on my troop seats rework. I am replacing all the wood, all the hardware (nuts, bolts, washers & pins), also I am media blasting all the troop seat brackets down to bare metal and repainting. This didn't seem like such a big job in the beginning but as I have gotten...

Oil Analysis results!! Finally got my oil analysis back, shows iron & silicon to be elevated. From my understanding the silicone can be a couple of things, excessive dirt, oil breaking down or silicone sealant used on gaskets? I won't know more a lot about that until I do another oil analysis...
