Respectfully, gentleman, I and "Soldier B" will not be able to attend as previously planned. Staff changes (2 departures) from my place of employment has put me on a "standby" status schedule. (In the Funeral Home, duty can call ANYTIME.) Although I am not a Funeral Director, I assist on "those calls" when necessary.

Hope y'all have a wunnerful event.

Will pray we're able to make the next one.
Sorry you can't make it. We look forward to seeing you this fall and the next rally.

I appreciate that.
In a sense, I guess the "karma" thing is telling me that the Deuce could be a bit better prepared for the trip too. There are still a few items needing attention before I'm fully confident in the roadtrip. She's mission-ready right now, but not yet top-notch.

Hope y'all have and "EXCELLENT ADVENTURE" :grin:8)

The only times that are actually set is we all start arriving at the off road ranch between 5 and 6 on Friday, Sheriffs escort us from the off road ranch to the museum between 8 and 8:30 Sat morning, we leave the museum between 2 and 2:30 with the sheriffs escorting us back to the ranch, then we play until its time to leave on Sunday.

Tshirts and banner have all been ordered. They should all be ready for me to pick them up sometime next week. If you want a Tshirt and haven't told me yet, please let me know as soon as possible.

Unfortunately will not be able to attend the full rally. Deuce isn't ready yet and have to be in Dallas Friday evening. However, would like to try to swing by the swap meet Friday morning if I can work out the logistics. Can someone give me any details on the swap meet - what time it starts, exactly where it is located, etc.?

Thanks Tons!

Zeusdaddy,

Here's a link to the Museum's web site: Museum of the American G.I.

I'll be at the swap meet Thur/Fri/Sat - maroon F250 w/M101 trailer. Stop by and say hello - and of course buy something while you're there  Need a cab reinforcement plate for your deuce??

Thanks Guys - will do our best to make the next rally. Hope you guys have an absolute blast!

As far as "needed" swap meet items I'm looking for:

Bows/tarp for the Deuce

Any and all components needed to add a winch to my Wo/W trucks

Side boards/rails and bows/tarp for my M105 trailers

And . . . . ?

So if anyone has any of this stuff and is planning to bring it by the swap meet let me know!

I called the Tshirt place and they said they can make 2 more shirts, but they won't be ready til next week. I picked up the banner today and it looks really good.

For those that have been asking the price for this weekend, it will be $40 + $10 per shirt.

Mkcoen - if, while you're at the swap meet today, you happen to notice anyone selling any of the stuff I'm looking for (winch and winch parts/components for deuce, bows/tarp for deuce, side board/rails, bows and tarp for M105), and you happen to log in to SS this evening, let me know! Thanks Tons!
