Another weekend trip in the truck. Finally got around to installing cruise control and makes the trip a lot more enjoyable. These switches fit the cutouts perfectly.
Also installed a vent switch so I can either pump air from the habitat to the front cab (for pre-warming or cooling) or to the outside (for when taking showers).

@aw113sgte love it! thanks for updates and sharing! Any need to add a protective covering over your minisplit's to fan blades?
It would be a good idea, just haven't gotten around to it yet. I'd like to have a shield both to prevent branches getting in there, but also it's a wind block so the fan is not getting hit by 70 mph wind for hours when on the highway.

Another weekend out making memories! Highlight was the trout stream.
Noticed cruise control doesn't let me increase or decrease speed once engaged. Normally clicking set/resume would increase and decrease speed by 1mph but this didn't work. Holding seemed to error out cruise and had to cycle the cruise switch to get it to work again. Guessing this is just me not knowing how the switches are supposed to function.

I installed cruise control on the 3126, I wired in a service brake input using a change over relay, and I had to figure out the cruise control set resume polarity in relation to switch and ecm. If you have CAT ET, you can live view what position the set/resume is. On my truck when the cruise control is armed I can set my speed and increase or decrease the speed using the set/res switch. Hitting the brake disengages the cruise control but it remains armed, pac brake is also inhibited when cruise control is armed. Since yours is a C7 the logic might be different.IMG_7078.jpeg

I have cruise/set/res wired correctly, and cat see cat ET registers all 3 switch positions correctly. I wired a relay to cut the cruise on circuit when hitting the brake. All that works as it should...just can't seem to adjust speed while in CC.

Hello, do you happen to have a diagram on how you wired the switches? Thank you.

So is ground just a battery negative or pin 5 on the ecm?
I used sensor common, there is some difference of opinion that sensor common is not the same as gnd, but it seems to work for most people. I also had to wire in a relay tied to service brake to give the ecm signal the brake is applied to shut off the cruise control.
