I decided to make a box that protrudes 6 inches off the back of the shelter with a flip up door

Just waiting on sealant to rivet it in. Using monobolt 3/16 alum/alum flush break round head water proof rivets.

This is not a standard pop rivet, its aircraft quality

I still need to make the nuke shield for the window

So I have deciphered a little of the mystery...3884 is not a unit designator, it is the last 4 of the NSN assigned to this box..

Full NSN is 5820-00-889-3884.
Anyone have an idea what C/CB might stand for, cant be Center/Center Balance, or could it

Today the EXFED guy brought me 6 tubes of SIKAFLEX 221 after 20+ days of back order..Now I can finally get back to work on the roof and getting the window and lower box installed

Spent a few finishing up roof rivet sealing,..Roof is done.

finished sealing/installing the patch panel and expanding foam the hack job.


I decided that i am going to redo the box for this swing out [due to measure twice failure ] and move the mis-measure box to another location.

Busy day for mail (US PS, EXFED and U PS)

-MMMMF/FFFFM Renogy connector
-Misc circut breakers
-Solar Panel Mounts

Ordered up an exterior Lpg 16000w hot water heater

Well, spent fri afternoon fitting the new box and marking drilling some holes, I tweaked the design of the swing out door so it would be more water resistant

I also positioned two 100ah deep cycle AGM batteries and made cables with the new hyd 10 ton crimper. I like

Getting the floor ready for new flooring install

Cleaned and sealed several previous exterior side wall holes, just need to make the panels to finish them off

Starting to figure out where everything will go on the inside.

More progress

Upper and lower box sealed rivetted and primed. Going to fab up an inner door and trim for the pass through and still need to make the nuke shield for the window.

I think its much improved over old bugger hack job

How do you intend to plumb hvac? Through the roof?
