I may bring some plinking wares to take down to the range. Here's a hypothetical question. Can FL resident Oddball sell FL resident Recovry4x4 a firearm whilst in the fine state of GA?

Re-read Steve's second Q and A (hint, the answer is no - when you are out-of-state you can legally only purchase from a licensed dealer, on their premise).

Yup. And I'd have no problem transferring stuff for people. But that last little bit is the catch. I can only do transfers at my premise or at official shows. Sooo, outta luck for anyone out of state.

I honestly don't know the answer to that.

That said, I wouldn't risk it until you're both back in FL. The BATFE rules were written by geniuses. No, I don't mean that sarcastically. They were brilliant in making the rules/laws so vague and at times contradictive, they can easily prosecute or not prosecute "violators" at will.

Chris, Bobby Bell may have one or more. I got a brand new one from him last year.

Drew, my question was hypothetical in nature. We can go back and delete it if you think it's best. I will not be involved in any firearm sales or related issues.

I see no reason to delete anything. Everything that has been stated is fact. Might help educate some people as well about the law.
