D town just called me. Seems like somebody has a yearly rental trailer on spot B12, and D town just realized it. So I have been moved to Spot B-7, which I gather is next to the MKT on the dirt road side. Not real thrilled, as I enjoyed the corner, and the lack of traffic.

I guess everybody better call D town and check to make sure they still have spots.......
JP, That's just great. B-7 is the command area's spot.

:-(

There is enough room so long as there aren't 47 MVs parked in the spot. Even with Kenny on the end and my two canopies, tent, M101 and the winged Dodge there was still room on the other side for medical and the tribute tent in 2014 and space on the other side of it. If JP sets up to the left of the power outlet there should be enough room for everything. The rally should split the cost with JP as last year I paid for it myself.

Do You Have a PDF Flier For the Rally?

Hi Guys

Very new to Steel Soldiers Forum, not so new to the HMV Hobby. Have just been reading through the treads on the Ga Military Vehicle Rally and following through to watch the videos from the past. Very impressive!

I'm the newsletter editor for the Merrimack Valley Military Vehicle Collectors, up here in New Hampshire would very much like to include the information about your Rally in our next newsletter going out in a week, do you have a one page flier about the event?

Your Rally sure looks to be our clubs kind of Rally with lots of vehicle activities.

We had an impressive Steel Soldiers organized Convoy arrive at our Rally in July five heavy MV trucks plus two HEMTT as a Convoy.

Cheers Phil

Thank you for your offer. I will talk with my graphic design guy here in a bit and see if we can whip something up.

Hi

Thanks Clinton for responding, can and will work from info you've already posted, looks like a fun rally. Tried getting the guys who attended a old truck show today with there HMVS to convoy down its only 3200 miles round trip, everybody liked the idea but doubted there trucks or their own physical ability to make the trip, but everybody wished they could.

Cheers Phil

Just remember, I have to get Ferro's traveling road show in there also. I am sure we will have enough power/extension cords to make everybody happy. I normally bring 300 feet of cord, plus a handful of smaller ones.

Down in GA, we don't even start the motors until we have 30 trucks signed up for the hardball convoy.

One thing I noticed on Durhamtown's website, when you go to events and click on the link to our event, it takes you to the other thread that was started. I think you should ask them to change it to this thread where all the details are at.

Good catch. I appreciate you letting us know, I'll email them now.

EDIT: 25-August-16. Fixed as of this morning.
