It won't be too much of a load.
Truck weighs a little over 20k.
Trailer weighs 10k.
I imagine that I will have around 5k on the trailer.

So a total of 35k rolling.
The trailer can handle 35k more payload!!!

how long do you guys think the convoy trip is going to take? Just a couple of days ago i got a musical gig that has it's second show in yakima at 7:30pm. I really want to come down for the convoy, but i need to know that i will be able to get back in time.

I would think you should have plenty of time. But I am not entirely sure how long it takes to drive out to yakima from here.

Guys, my inbox was full so I started deleting stuff, one of you PNW members sent me a request for stencils but I accidentally deleted the msg. Please resend the request to me if you still want them by the rally dates.

well i guess what i was meaning was that we leave aaron's at like 0930 for the parade and then we drive 76 miles or so. but i don't know what kind of speed we will be holding through that mileage. Hammer do you have an idea of how long our convoy trip will take.

Dale, it does take a while to get back over to yakima via i-90. I just google mapped it and if i take us-12 it should take about 2.5-3 hours to get there. that's not bad. if i was able to leave by quarter to 4 or so that would be perfect.

Hey Alex. I would plan 3 hrs from here to Yakima on US12. The big question I can't answer for you is what time we will be ending the parade and then beginning the convoy.

Head count.

We are getting really close fellow SS'ers. So close in fact, that it's time to make a logistics run for Saturday night chow.

Please review the list from Mike's post. If you are confirmed for the Convoy AND bringing a guest(s) please let me know ASAP the total number in your party. If you were here last year and your party will be the same, disregard. I will plan for the same number in your party from last year.

WE NEED MORE TRUCKS!!!!(yelling) There is still time for those of you waiting in the wings to jump in and be part of the fun. It's not too late tillfat lady sings

Ok, thanks Aaron. Depending on when the parade ends will determine how long I can follow you all on the convoy. if i hit US 12 by 1545 or 1600 i think i will be fine. I am excited!!! :jumpin:

Yeah, I am going to drive Aaron's '67 in the parade while he drives his '71 and his father-in-law drives the M109. It's a nice drivin' truck. I don't quite have my own yet! Wish i did/could. I think it would be a bit much right now. lol This whole school thing is throwing a wrench in it.
