Yes, they are. We use to take our duece to cruise nights for ice cream and alike and everyone would huddle around the truck and ignore the classic cars. Size does matter.:p

Well, I had mine up for sale and will be signing it over today for $6,500.00 and it is a 1983 wo/w. It is in excellent shape and would not hesitate taking it for a 200mi round trip. So without being able to see it myself to judge the comparability of the two trucks.... I would jump on it...

Your not going to get camper waiver unless you have a hard top. I take my duece camping all the time and sleep in the back, but that is not enough for the state. Tried it and denied.

Simple fact is these trucks are out of the norm for most local goverments and DMV's and they are inconsistant in handling. They are just lost. Be patient, do your home work and play dumb all at the same time. I live in MA and take mine to my other house in Barnstead all the time. Maybe we...
