I just noticed you are in Dallas. That is not mud so you will be save. The weak points will show in time. I hope you are not operating on roads down there.
You will just break something else. You will chase the torque down the driveline. It is a 100hp truck. Made so anyone could operate and repair but designed so hard to break at that HP. If you are serious, start at the axles and brakes. Upgrade to contain the HP you are running. Then move up...
Rim must be clean. Tire must be clean. Use tire mounting soap. Do not dilute with water. Use on oring and rim and tire bead. Assemble tire. Fill with 5 psi of air. Mount to truck or put in cage. Use clip on tire chuck and attach to tire. Connect hose to chuck and start filling. Have a heavy...
I wish I could get to Brute. Poor guy is surrounded by water from snow melt and rain. I get the boat out after I get back from Gimpyrobbs with my fender and get mounted. As I have the fender off I plan on fuel line replacement, good wiring check out. If he is not under by then. No I don't have...
Yes I know. I have two tools. One like a hand rivet gun and the other like bolt cutter. I have use rivet nuts for 30 years. I have learned that drill hole. Check fit. Paint hole. Let dry. Install nut.
Even a bran new truck, the brakes are the weak link. Hauling the weight the truck can handle it. Stopping and repeated stopping with a heavy load takes toll on the brakes. Drove through KY with a cargo trailer behind my 1/2 ton silverado. Trailer has brakes on both axles. The hills got me and...
Voltage affects fuse rating. If you go to RS or NAPA most likely buying 12 volt fuses not 24 volt. A 5 amp 12 volt is equal to 10 amp at 24 volt. Slow blow or not your pump will overheat before blowing fuse. So if the TM calls for 2 amp 24 volt slow blow then a 1 amp 12 volt slow blow should get...
Could any of you A3 guys do me a favor? I would like a skitch or tracing of the headlight guards. Nothing fancy. Big thing is the bend, what radious. I want to put my fog lights in something similar.

Starting to finalize this trip. As always it has grown so I will be in Ohio on the 20th to get loaded then head over to Chris's place to pickup my fenders and junk. Then head home. The following weekend I will head up to CT to drop off. So pu and drops in NJ, DE, PA, OH, NY, RI, CT, and others...
If I can Win somthing in ct. I would have to come up. If you are in no hurry let's wait. I could do a pick up of your stuff Friday. Since the trailer is your stuff you pay tolls on that plus 500 in fuel. Again if we get other stuff to move that can reduce. I have moved some on this site. You can...
I looked but could not find. I plan o going to Guys Brakes and/or Trans Axle with a sample. They have more resources than I do. The ALCO nut looks promising.
