    Sway Bar bushing replacement difficulties

I got mine from Summit Racing. I cannot recall the part ##'S but they were the poly ones for a 1985 K5 Blazer. Fit perfect, the bitch was getting the old ones out. Had to heat them up and melt them out. Good luck!

    M1009 rear window handle.

The first thing I did when I fixed mine was to remove the safety latch that prevent the gate from opening without the window being down.

New CUCV front winch bumper, winch, and lights

LOVE that bumper! I want one for my M1009 but am worried about the weight. I would probably have to beef up the front end.

    Rear window Plexiglas??

Has anyone done it? I have it in my race car and wonder if it is a good option for the rear window. It is sure a lot lighter than that big chunk of glass!

    NEW ATF in a 6.2??

Ok, so I have seen the different posts and I need to ask, just to be sure. Can you use ATF in the 6.2 CUCV motor? I have seen two different camps, one for and one against. For being it is ok to use and against being it had additives that enhance friction which is bad for the IP. I have a case...

NOS USMC M1028 from Norway Storage

Nice! GL has some gems left. I just picked up a M101A2 that was rebuilt/restored in 10/2009. Basically a new M101A2. All new wiring, new tires , bed, breaks, everything! I was very happy when I picked it up. I am very jealous on your truck! I was in Norway in 1992 on joint exercises and I recall...

    M1009 recovery at Meade……..

LOL, Mike's a good guy... I don't think it was GL and the fork lift. This has all the signs of a front end collision. Funny thing is when I hooked up the new Batteries, the emergency flashers were still on! I had thought about getting a new harmonic balancer, I still may, but it looks to be...
