Anybody looking for a 24V Federal Siren

It sounds just like it should... Very period correct (I know the answer is lame, but it is hard to describe!!!) If you look on my youtube video you can see her (spotless) sister perched on top of the left fender. I planned to have an audio recording going simultaneously to the light show, but...

Anybody looking for a 24V Federal Siren

Just found and bought this off ebay. This is exactly the same siren as the one on my deuce fire truck. There is one difference, it does not have a spot light on the front. This siren is brand new... in its box... I bought one, and had my financial conditions been better, I would have jumped on...

My Deuce's transfer case... what a surprise!

I had been working on most of my auxiliary systems of my deuce fire truck thinking that my core (or mechanical) heart was good to go. As I was leaving my shop, I tried to get it into low gear ... just to try it... It would not go... in fact all it would do was grind a bit as I tried to put it...

Anibody have a problem with the clutch/brake pedal position on the 5 ton?

I have done a bit more research and have noticed that my problerm is between my knee and the steering wheel. I guess I have a long lower leg and when I pull up to apply the clutch or the brake, my knee hits the steering wheel way before I can put my foot on the pedal. The brake pedal is not so...

    M818 5 ton modification

We have a very low hour/mile M818 Tractor w a winch that is cherry. If I were to put a pickup bed on it, it would probably one of the best go anywhere 6x6 . Has anybody attempted such a venture with an M818? Would have to reinvent the wheel, only to see one pass me by at the next MV rally...

I will be doing a hub flip on my deuce and thought thta this may be the ideal time to bring the bearing and braking system up to as new spec or better. My initial plan was to remove all wheel cylinders, rubber howses, master cylinder and air pumps for either replace or rebuild. I would also...

Anibody have a problem with the clutch/brake pedal position on the 5 ton?

My M818 runs like a sewing machine, has more power than... well my deuce... but, and it is a big, for me to apply the cluch or the brake, I have to pull my legup to the pedal... I guess a few falls from my bike (Indial Chief... 1947 makes my hip flexibility very limited. That being said, when I...

Glad you like!!! If you take a closer look at the video, you may notice that it is in the middle of a wood recycling yard... in fact the sound you hear in the background is the whisper of one of our Diamond Z wood grinders with 800+HP of Caterpillar happiness. We had a nasty fire there about 7...
