There should be a axle vent. I would check to see that they are not clogged. I had a couple of wheels on the M35 that looked like yours. I have no idea how that truck was stopping. It's axle vents were open. Just a crappy job with the cork. Hendersond - you are not icing a cake dude...

found m35a1 what am I in for

Yeah but we changed all the fuel filters and it had more power. Next up is to change the oil. The batteries crapped out early I thought. Anyone have problems with the solorgizer over charging batteries?

I don't recall any type of metal rod with my starter or switch. there were pins on the linkage. Yeah that Woodruff key might need to be placed in the correct spot in the Winch.

They are the same size and will screw right in. I have noticed that some of the ones you see for sale don't come with the screws mounted on the license like the ones you will take off. Some done come with the rubber seal either. Alan

I saw these as slides on e pay awhile back and could not resist buying them. They are from original slides taken in Korea during the 1950's Now shared here for your enjoyment. This one is cool because it shows the original canvas cab top and the cargo top. On the road

    Reb shifter

As for shifting the transmission with the stock automatic, since mine is not running yet, has anyone tried the suggestions for shifting that are described on the Hydramatic Heaven document at the link? Did they help any?

    1952 M135 W/Winch

I don't agree that the condensers are voltage specific. I think it is more of a quality issue with them being made not in the US. Read this post: http://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=97935

    Question about brake cylinders.

Just make sure to not mix the piston rods that go from the piston to the brake shoes. They are not all the same from piston size to piston size.

    G749 preservation

I can measure my 2.5 Airpacks but the 5 ton has a longer tube where the brake fluid is and I think a longer air cylinder. But the diameters are the same so the 5 ton kit can be used. I think the 5 ton air switch is larger.
