I love the military 3 part camo but you can make yours unique...Like others have said lots are camo, at a rally you will stand out if yours is a little different. I would match your local color terrain like was said previously and come up with my own 3 color camo....that would be soooo cool!
Well I'll start off with a warning for you...I too am a car nut....Now I am an OD Iron nut. The cars still get attention but man! when you get a 6X6....well there is just no comparison. People looked at you strange before but now they will start asking "hey why do you have(X#) of 6X6's or CUCV's...
I got mine at Walmart in the boating section. 30$ and they can cross the filter at autozone (the walmart one says not for diesel....but it didn't hurt mine):-D If you need the filter # PM me and I will look on my truck
Don't feel bad I backed into the wifes 2002 7 series BMW this morning with my 84 300sd (windows were iced up) Bang! big dent in the drivers door...no damage to the 300 sd. I will never hear the end of it.......
Rear glass is an easy install as you can access it by putting down the tailgate and unscrewing the cover. Welcome to the addiction. I too frequent Benzworld.org. I have 300sd's the m1009 likes biofuel almost as much as my 300sd. If you are interested in that route, there are plenty of threads...
Alredneck My setup uses WVO , I would suggest doing most of the filtering at home before putting it in your tank. This saves you the roadside filter changes...well it may at least reduces them. I would much rather change the filter at the house than on the road. Just a suggestion.:-D
I just saw this thread and was going to guess water when you said whitish WVO. If its white it has entrained water and Will screw up everything(as you saw). Drain the tank and you can heat the fuel up and filter off the water, it should settle to the bottom of your barrel. Just watch out for...
Seems to me you could buy a rust bucket remove the vin and weld on to the new body. As long as you have the title and go by the DMV to get it checked out I don't think there would be a problem. Figure the body would set you back 2000$, running gear maybe 2000$. Crate 4 cylinder (can't get a new...
Love em while you have em. Yeager my Shepard is almost 8 he is the sweetest dog we have ever owned. It's nice to wake up with your dog snuggled up next to you...or even better when they are chasing something in their sleep...and the soft YIP's as they bark while asleep Priceless:-D
My m1009 rear driveshaft had a crack on the ear that u joint goes in and after driving on the highway for about an hr (feeling an ever so slight vibration and figuring it to be a tire) it broke the ear and proceeded to exit the underside of the truck. I found it about 600 feet behind me on the...
