The only thing stopping me from buying your product is I am a cheap SOB that has a full machine shop, and keeps thinking that I should take the time to make my own... In the meantime, I hate myself every time I start my deuce and listen to the turbo charger complain while I wait 15 seconds for...
Heat em up (moderately)with a propane torch then cool the stud with ice.If you hear a pop then the rust broke....apply penetrating oil to the now semi cool threads and it should draw the lubricant in to the lug threads.:-D
I have always heard you need to add oil to gasoline as the flash point is too high and the lack of lubrication causes pump failure in a deuce so my 2cents. The above post by Stumps is the reason I only buy indirect injection diesels (as far as I know) they seem to be less prone to fuel...
Ok I agree that you cant take out glycerine...I said remove the heavies...including heavy fats and I too have made a couple of batches of Biodiesel and have the equipment and chemicals to do it so I understand the process and the difference. I have been running WVO in my Mercedes 300sd for over...
Wow! nice!!!!!! Now all you need to do is make a kit with instructions for the rest of us. LOL. I am real interested in your build. Please keep the info coming....are you going to propane injection? I would be interested in the power increase before you turn the fuel up with a propane injection
Heat it to cause most of the crap to fall to the bottom and then drain off the bottom. ALWAYS filter AFTER you heat and drain, it will save you money on filters, I wold also put a magnet on the filter to pull out any microscopic ferrous metals, unless you centrafuge then you have no worries.
Common trash is where the goo goes as it isnt much maybe a baseball sized piece for a 55 gal drum of oil. It really depends on how clean your oil is from the get go. I put the real thick nasty stuff (drained from the bottom of my heated barrel)on my weeds in areas I want to kill, even then its...
Man I am so bummed that I couldn't make it this year! It sounds like all had a great time! I would vote no on media as I would hate for the mainsteam media to characterise our rally as a militia meeting or such tripe.:-D
Here's a neat site
The Box O' Truth - Ammo Penetration Testing
Personally there is something to be said about kevlar/steel/kevlar/steel combination or just 1/4" hardened plate steel. Bullet resistant glass is exceedingly expensive but you could build 1/2" lexan shields for the windows...
Sorry I wasn't reading for comprehension that question was for you cranetruck:oops: It says manual preluber on #8
8) Manual preluber for the engine, later removed.
Thats why I am confused.
If I needed as much as you I might look into a junk truck from GL but it is still a crapshoot unless you check it out closely, but sometimes they go for 200-500$
Put this one in!
900+ HP Cummins 5.9 Truck Pull or Drag Motor:eBay Motors (item 180422041613 end time Oct-26-09 12:15:45 PDT)
that would be one Bad A$$ Deuce!
m109 shop body m35's are the most common large truck BOV. Some here are REALLY nice. I bought mine for a BOV (and for FUN!) because not much can stand in the way of a deuce. I had planned to camp out in mine for a couple of weekends and see what I really needed before spending a lot of money. I...
