Ha! I was thinking the sme thing that these would be GREAT fire starters
in addition to Bic Lighters. Really could be the difference between FREEZING and
suriving, being able to ignite damp materials...
I have a pointed tip electric, I still like a mini flame from time to time,
especially when the flame is on a mini torch that has a stand, leaving me 2
hands to do my deeds.
I don't want to wait for a good torch, I need one now so I decided to
pick up a Harbor Freight special. I LOVE IT...
Gosh I so hope I can go. I have been there a couple of times and
it is such a cool place. The trip to the dry-lake-bed alone is something
that should be on everyone's bucket list! Firearms handled professionally
is always welcome too. A kid friendly event it can be as well. But I think I
just...
Clean it all up w/ a pressure washer then take it out for a SHORT
drive and climb under there looking for the beginnings of leakage.
If you see nothing drive some more and recheck. If it totally quits
maybe it was too full to begin with.
Ahab,
I believe the OE cable to be about 15'- 20' long or so.
I saw the quote in passing on my box just about a week
or so ago. Yes, it was over $3,000.00 for that cable.
That is what I was quoted.
These LMHC Cranes are AWSOME
little pieces of machinery and you can not get parts, you
have...
LMHC Crane Components
One more piece of the LMHC puzzle finally is done.
These connectors are time consuming to build.
No crimping, I soldered all pins, tinned ends etc.
A few pieces of steel are needed on the catwalk
and I can put the crane together and actually use it.
This cable...
I did not read each reply but I do believe your LOW Fan wire on
the heater blower is 12V. Look at your batteries, see that smaller
wire? That I believe is the 12V feed. You could run another small wire
from there too for your 12V stuff, and so long as you have a fuse your good,
connect ground...
I have a little butane powered mini torch for small solder jobs
and it worked OK but w/o warning it just died. I hate to throw
good money after a bad design. THIS ONE
Can anyone recommend a decent little torch for soldering military connectors
and other items?
My handheld MAPP torch makes a...
Make sure you add an appropriate PRV (Pressure Relief Valve s) piped to an
area where no one will get hurt if she blows.
The solder joints seem a little to close to the hot can for my liking.
Insulation is your friend.
If the copper gets real hot it could sag inside, maybe a support inside...

If it is the same bumper as an M925A1, I have a kit
I designed and had cut w/ a water-jet machine.
It comes in two pieces, you weld the final
piece. (trust me on this, works wayyy better this way
It looks store-bought if you do it right. They are on Ebay.

I think this thread has over 10,000 views currently, if
you have a CAT 7155 tranny I have several ratio selector
boxes (the In Cab Shifter Boxes) that go bad, FOR SALE.
I will beat almost any public price you find for them
within reason. NOS in sealed wooden boxes!
The TM is going to be VERY close. It does give a weight
for the truck in the TM. Now add what that weight does not cover,
it is all in the TM I do believe, wet / dry etc...tell us what you find.
If I remember correctly, when you adjust the governor you are
adjusting the governor CUT OUT pressure, from there the CUT IN
pressure is automatic and "about" 25% lower than the CUT OUT pressure.
Get the EXACT model # of your governor and get the manual for
it from the mfg. to prove me right...
