67 Deuce dies when i hit 4th gear

Don't forget the rubber hose on the in-tank pump......if it is rotted or is collapsing when fuel is being sucked through it that could be your issue. The bottom plate is also bad to come off of the in-tank pump....some were press fitted into the housing and could pop out. This allows the...

    Jake's Military Fleemarket

If it is concealed properly no one should know about it. I don't open carry my personal weapon because I don't want the bad guys to see it before they feel the slug ripping through their guts. My guess it is because of the liability issue and the event insurance policy......thank the bastage...

    New Guy in 'bama

I resemble that remark.rofl Welcome to the Green Iron Laughing accademy.:cookoo: Like Papa Bear said......get ready for the GA Rally now and avoid the rush. The most fun you can have with your britches on (but we don't peek). You can search the threads for the 2011 GA Rally and check out...

    Jake's Military Fleemarket

A flea and a fly were caught in a flue. Said the flea "let us fly". Said the fly "let us flee". So they flew through a flaw in the flue. And that's how you tell flea from flee.rofl Sorry.....sometimes the editor in me just jumps out.

    "The Beast"

It is a testimony to the failure of the United States criminal justice system. As long as they go after crackheads, tweakers and the occasional "barricaded suspect" they'll be fine. Anybody with a basic knowledge of IED's can turn one into a smoking pile of junk in a few seconds. Or they...

    Gl lack of cucv's

Where have you been? They sold at least two huge lots of them last week....one lot was at Camp Shelby and there were at least 20 trucks in that lot. If you want one the time to jump is when there is a large lot of them. As with the dueces the price will creep back up as the supply dries up.

    Major tire trouble

Deuce rims and tires should be common in your area......tires/rims off a M105 trailer (and other trailers) will fit right on the deuce. I have a butt load I'll sell for 25 bucks a pop.

M872 Trailers----What do they sell for?

I have pulled those trailers.....they are made to set a 40 foot shipping container on but they also came with tarps, bows and side boards so they could haul general freight or ammunition. Since the axles are at the rear of the trailer and do not slide you have to swing very wide to get the...

Anyone know what the heck this is..?

I would think that if you brought them to the GA Rally you would sell them pretty quick. Papa Bear is always looking for something to hide his hooch from Mama Bear in.

    Dead Battery Situation-M35a2

Are you sure little hands aren't flipping the battery switch on while the adults aren't around. With the batt switch on the low air buzzer will come on if the air leaks down, draining the batteries.

M1009 fuel consumpation, what is your MPG?

You are talking about a big, heavy 4 wd truck with the aerodynamics of a concrete block. 15 MPG would work for me. My 2 WD Dodge Dakota with auto and V-6 only gets 21 MPG. A tuned exhaust with low restriction mufflers might give you a couple more MPG but you would have to drive it a lot...

    M35 hot water heater

For several reasons.....the best is that with the heater in the engine compartment you have to work around it to do repairs. My work deuce has it on the drivers side fender and it is a major PITA to work on the IP or even change the fuel filters. I plan to change it out as soon as possible...

For all you F-14 Tomcat / Grumman Iron Works fans....sad news

Air Force Prayer Lord guard and guide the men who fly, Through the great spaces of the sky, Be with them as they take to air, In morning light and sunshine fair. Eternal Father, strong to save, Give them courage, make them brave, Protect them whereso'er they go, From shell and flak and fire...
