    Deuce tanker question

The frame and running gear are the same. If you transplant the tank to another deuce you will have to move the PTO and linkage also. The numbers on the data plate (on the dash) will not match the one stamped on the frame......not an issue if you are not a purist.

    Deuce tanker question

Tankers are rare off of GL....the last one I watched sold for almost 10k and it was in fair shape. I have one that came out of south FL and has serious rust issues. The tank is stainless on mine. If I remember correctly you can carry two types of fuel but one has to be gravity fed out if there...

Looking for an expandeable shelter in NC

I have seen expandable shelters (like the S-280) but they are few and far between. I think most of them had canvas and glass shops mounted in them. There were some on GL a few years ago.....may find someone around Fort Bragg that has one.

The air compressor wrench is a necessary item if you ever need it (I have one but it is hanging on the wall). If you...

    Surpurb GL chat help.

My experience with GL is that the rank and file worker bees, with a few rare exceptions, are good, helpful folks. Most of the problems are at at the top out in Phoenix.

    Has Anyone Lowered an M101-A2?

The simplest way is to change the axle but then you have lost the flavor of the MV. You can get axles/rims/tires at Tractor Supply that would fit the bill. One advantage to changing the axle is that you could put on one with electric brakes. The 101 axle has only emergency brakes. Just my two...

    Will this filter WMO?

Errrrrr......don't have a number...it is the basic 12 volt fuel pump...the intake fits on top of the drum and has a pickup tube that will reach almost to the bottom of a 55 gallon drum. The other end has a fuel nozzle like at the gas station. There is a switch to shut it off and on with......I...

    Expanovan question - workbenches

When the sides are expanded the drawers will open either way allowing access from both sides. Since my intention was not to use the van as a workspace I removed the benches. They are VERY heavy and hard to work around. They are also wired into the body. They are for sale if anyone is interested.
