What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Yeah.. It was satisfying :) I definitely plan to add an additional heater (electric) for these cold mornings. But other than that, the 4 days recently that I have used it as my daily driver have gone well :)

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Didn't do anything to the truck today, but I did drive it to work again. Going to do it for a full week and see how it goes :)

    Statistics on Deuce ownership

True. But that's nowadays. I'm talking 10 or 20 years in the future, where there will be no new internal combustion vehicles (all electric, etc.) and most vehicles will be automated. These monsters will be a novelty, and probably toys for those with $$$ in their pockets. People will buy them for...

    Statistics on Deuce ownership

He's referring to future values. I for one think any former MV is going to bring a premium in the future. As the supply dries up the prices will go up as well. I'm sure mostly stock vehicles will be in higher demand than modified trucks. I also foresee a trend in the future, called "unbobbing,"...

    What have I done now?

Congrats! Mine doesn't really fit in the driveway either.. Only about 10 feet to spare before the street. But it doesn't matter :) And my neighbors are used to it ;) FYI, I sent you a personal message when you get a chance to read it.

    5-ton Questions

The tractors with a cut down bed are really starting to grow on me.. If I ever get another 5 ton I think go that route :)

M929A2 Draining Air Tanks; One At A Time?

Honestly.. I usually just do them all at once until all the air is gone from the truck. I never have any water come out... Maybe a bit of moist air. Air dryer purges a decent amount of water when it blows. Opening all of them at once means there is plenty of air to drain all of them, at least on...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

We had a meeting this morning (6:30) for the whole company at our old building.. Drove the truck to work and parked it on the ramp leading to the loading dock ;) 8-) People got a kick out of it :)

    M925A2 to M932LA2 Conversion

Yeah I did the TMG filter upgrade, intake cap screen is perfect, yet I still experience the same results as you. Gauge goes halfway to the top under acceleration. Yesterday I went for my first drive after the filter upgrade, and I posted my findings in the regular 5 ton section. Other guys are...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Is it the type of filter that just mounts under the hood? So we're thinking that maybe the filter gauge is just a poor design?
