I have finished painting up everything, and am trying to get it reinstalled on the truck. First problem is that the 2 new gaskets that I bought are garbage.. The internal diameter is not even big enough to fit over the pipe! So, I figured I would cut a slot in one side so it could spread open a...
Hmmm.. The mystery grows. Let me ask 2 more questions then: Is this the first time you've changed the oil in the truck? I'm just wondering if this chunk has been in there a long time, or if you have previously changed the oil and it has happened since then. And second, did you scratch away at...

Ha.. Maybe used  If you buy one new you're looking at $1000 or so. That's for the fiberglass version that people are making now. NOS steel hardtops in the crate/box are more like $3000 :(
Got home early enough from work and had enough time to remove my heat shield, both clamps, and the old muffler :) Not too bad at all.. Just time consuming because I was using regular wrenches, and some of those spots are pretty tight.
I think tomorrow is supposed to be the last day of good...
Well... There ARE plenty of good pictures in older threads. Maybe you noobs should do a search... lol rofl
