Yeah I have that one too.. Took a look at it earlier. Before I saw his pic for comparison I had no idea there were different versions. I'm sure I saw both versions when I was looking at trucks to buy back in July, but I wasn't paying enough attention to notice the difference.
Well.. They weren't cheap. $325 each with free shipping, so $650 for the pair. By comparison, the unheated headlights are $330ish for the pair.
Just went out and switched them on in the dark.. One word to describe these lights: AWESOME. Excellent clarity and brightness. The Hella H4 upgrade...
Received and installed my new heated Truck Lite LED headlights 8-) Can't wait to see what they look like after it gets dark out :) Also painted my new muffler from Floridianson with high temp black grille paint. Went a bit overboard and did like 6 coats. Looks sweet. Also pulled off my top pipe...
I'm 6' and 185lbs so I'm fairly skinny.. shouldn't be an issue :) Who did you finally end up getting the proper gasket(s) from? (not sure who "Erik" is..)

Don't fire departments run the trucks to keep them ready to go? Every time I have done work in a fire department I've seen rather large exhaust hoses that allow them to run the trucks indoors.. I never actually asked anyone about them.
Hmm.. That's unusual. From what I have been hearing on here the common fix is to smack the drums with a sledge. They are supposed to free up at that point.
:ditto:
If the clamps are on tight, I can't see how it could leak without some kind of problem.. Both hoses are rubber and have a cracked appearance on the outside. I'm thinking it has more to do with the old rubber failing.
I'm considering replacing all of my coolant hoses when I drain the coolant to replace it and install my block heater. They don't look bad at all, but if the price isn't too ridiculous I might just do them. However, a search online finds a seller here that carries this hose, a seller there that...
