    I'm just curious about this. Has anyone else ever seen a 6.2 painted Cat yellow? I'm guessing that it could've been rebuilt at some point, and being a diesel the rebuilder used Cat paint. But with only 7,000 miles on it, a rebuild doesn't seem overly likely. If that's indeed the actual mileage.

    Yep, that and where the SEE came from. Being that mine lived near Tacoma, Washington, it even had moss growing on it in places. And peakbagger, I also bought slightly larger snap ring pliers afterwards, just in case.

    If you can't locate one, consider making one - or having one made - from a common 4-bolt version. It's only a matter of some welding and minor machining.

    I've thought about running two 12 Volt fans instead of the harder to find 24 Volt versions, and apparently the military also thought that it would be a good idea for cooling FLU hydraulics. Of course, the downside is that if one fan goes bad, both will stop working.

    That would be the factory setup on a '91 Crew Cab. Of course, only about 1,500 of those were made. If you can't find the rods, making your own should be easy enough.
