I did. thats how I knew the pump motor was bad. 24vdc at the connector which is now powering the new pump. The deuce wiring is so simple, a 18 year old can trouble shoot it...... Now the wiring on my last BMW motorcycle would give a electrical engineer nightmares. hahahahahaha
Up date. I installed the inline 24vdc fuel pump from Summit (cost 60$ last year) . It doesn't restrict flow when shut off. It runs fine. It needs 2- 1/4mpt x 1/2 hose barbs, 8 inches of 1/2" fuel hose and 4 gates screw clamps to install inline by cutting out a 12" section of the 1/2 copper...
I got a 24vdc inline pump I bought from Summit a few years ago. it has 3/8" hose fittings on it. I'll adapt this week. I noticed Boyce has a better quality one also. Its probably been out for quite some time because by the time I use the truck, a couple weeks go by and that damn low air buzzer...
I haven't heard my in tank pump run before start up for a while, and today when changing the primary fuel filter, I couldn't use it to fill it back up. truck has been running fine and still does without it. I only use it for firewooding around me and snow plowing, so no highway driving.
I...
Rubber from China is the worse product available. Subaru timing belts use rubber from another Indonesia country such as Malaysia, (memory is bad) and is great. I used a Chinese one one time and it wore in 20K. Same with coolant hoses as they seem to swell quite a bit. So I stay away from...
I got a 1989 F450 7.3 that has been like that for 10 years now. Just give it a squirt of juice and off it goes. BTW my JD 4020 tractor manual states that you need to use ether in colder weather below 60F, and has a system similar to some of the deuce's with the screw in bottle and button.
Ive been working the dog doo out of the deuce pulling firewood out of the forest. I bought some 1/2 inch grade 70 chains too, as the 3/8 grade 43 kept breaking when I hit a few tree stumps dragging 50+ feet of 16 inch logs. Now I cn get some of those Ponderosa pins higher up the...
Im from Stockton originally. what attracted me to Northern Idaho is...open or conceal carry without permit. gun for sale stands at some gas stations, no helmet law, can ride in the back of a truck, can cruise through town on UTV's, The bill board (only billboard in town too) has "Trump Won" on...
I Don't have a cordless impact, but I have a 42" X 1 1/4" pipe that is a combo cheaper bar, wheel lift, log roller (fire wood) and critter deterrent . It may be the way to go as its very reliable.
there is just opinions. I prefer wet torque. getting the threads real clean is probably more important than the method of torque. 30 wt motor oil has been used probably the most, but some use white grease, graphite, etc. they all have different torque specs, so make sure the spec is for the type...
