    Rebuilding Winch

Here are the dimensions, and this one tells you what material thickness ... if you decided to make your own - or have them made.

    Rebuilding Winch

You may proceed as explained above to remove it (with a hoist), but for re-installation it might be necessary to also loosen the bolts holding the brackets to the frame. This thread is a long one but it tells you most everything you need to know about rebuilding your winch.

I will have some (NIB) HMMVW/CUCV torque converters there, super-cheap (!) Also, NIB Deuce transmission countershafts... (One of each will go to the raffle.)

Planning to be there early afternoon, as well. Look out for a red pickup coming from NC's far east, squatted... (carrying a HET 5th-wheel and ramps);-)

Steel Soldiers 20th Anniversary Logo Contest!!!

In the past I have used Stencil Gothic BE. (here...) It's OK but still requires some minor work, like adjusting proportions as well as better spacing between characters. Ah, for our purpose I like yours better! It has a flavor of Times New Roman, doesn't it? And I see you can play with bold...

Steel Soldiers 20th Anniversary Logo Contest!!!

Why not the exact same color as the screen background in all our posts? And use some military stencil font?

    Tom's Overdrive kit

Really - how many? The propeller shaft from TC to 1st rear axle is only 4 ft long, C-C between caps, fully extended. Almost - yes... when parked at the Walmart...:p Don't forget rear axle articulation on a stock M35...

    DOT vrs Standard Nylon hose

This thread is about the many different types of NYLON tubing - and when to use what, right? And the one shown in pic 3 seems to be standard industrial Nylon (polyamide) hose? Not sure why you are bringing in polyurethane, which is a completely different material, for different uses? Maybe you...

International 7300 crew pickup on 20x10s with 46's

Sorry, I had not noticed until now that your second post was on moderation. (Happens automatically when a new member posts a link/website/etc.) Fixed it. Edit: Please add your state in your profile/location. It's a rule! (I had PMed you about it, already...)

International 7300 crew pickup on 20x10s with 46's

Those wheels in your last pictures are known as 5-ton "combat" wheels and their BSp is 11.38", which is pretty close to what the FMTV wheels have. Same goes for all other dimensions and specs. I blew up one of the very few pictures in that "Bulldog" site, showing the actual wheel of that...

    Tom's Overdrive kit

The problem parts seem to be the gears themselves. Do you still have any modified mainshafts left? Other parts for the 3053?

LDS/LDT accessory belt length with and without power steering pump

Ha-ha, don't worry; we all have our senior moments... (I guess it's happening more often to me, lately...:-?)

International 7300 crew pickup on 20x10s with 46's

What you have there are 2pc HEMTT wheels. They have a backspace of 8.9". And by flipping them, it moves the rear tire 5.66 inches outward (instead of the desired 11+ inches). What I would do is try-on an FMTV wheel on your front hub. These are stud-centered as well and the bolt center is the...

LDS/LDT accessory belt length with and without power steering pump

:-?:?::-?:?: That is a gear-driven pump; there are no belts involved... It mounts right here...
