You may proceed as explained above to remove it (with a hoist), but for re-installation it might be necessary to also loosen the bolts holding the brackets to the frame.

Really - how many? The propeller shaft from TC to 1st rear axle is only 4 ft long, C-C between caps, fully extended.

Those wheels in your last pictures are known as 5-ton "combat" wheels and their BSp is 11.38", which is pretty close to what the FMTV wheels have. Same goes for all other dimensions and specs.
I blew up one of the very few pictures in that "Bulldog" site, showing the actual wheel of that...
What you have there are 2pc HEMTT wheels. They have a backspace of 8.9". And by flipping them, it moves the rear tire 5.66 inches outward (instead of the desired 11+ inches).
