FYI, as far as noise reduction goes.... I used peal and seal as a base, then added foam and indoor/outdoor carpet.... Cost was around $100 IIRC.... I could talk normally, at 60...

Please, please, at the very minimum, read the -10 TM.... These are not large pickups, they're essentially commercial trucks with lots of unique quirks. There are things you need to understand and tackle before you drive it.

An FMTV was stolen in Seattle, and SPD refused to pursue. Please find a way to make it not move. Something as simple as pulling the emergency stop lever (cuts fuel) should be enough.

The first flush I did netted muddy brown water. I pulled all the hoses and flushed water through the radiator.... Took about 10min until it came clear.... Then I backflushed through the heater core with just the lower radiator hose disconnected... about...

What kind of 'inspection' did they do where they didn't notice a loose wire that's visible upon the most cursory inspection?
Granted it's an old, used truck, and you can never guarantee 100% operation, but still....
