You may want to switch it with another cylinder. Also how are you checking that its not fireing? Temp gun on exhaust? Cracking the fuel line at the injector?
Since your set isnt charging. Low voltage on the 24v system is probably why its shutting down. In a pinch you can hook a 24v battery charger to the convenience outlet and charge the batteries that way.
Dosnt the fuel return at the tank just push on a hose barb? That small 3.5mm of return line a hose clamp may not be the thing to use. You can use SS wire. I used small zip ties.
Also i have ordered the contitech hose daybreak posted from amazon. It was enough to do two 802a, cant remember...
someone juse used a vehicle alarm system to do a remote start. With 150ft of conduit your prob really only 120ft from the generator. Vehicle remote should work.
Same here with her my first time. Tryed to dump 2 old crap sets on me. Went in the back and picked the cherry ones. Next time i got what i won at auction.
Did you win those at govplanet?
Your talking about the hard injector lines? You can put a little heat on them. I havr done this for really stuck hydraulic hoses. Heat slightly (not red) tap with hammer and work the threads. You can also melt candle wax on the fitting just when it starts to get hot. Hold the candle there...
I actualy had a 803 and 802 at the house and didnt onow what one i wanted to keep. Put the 802 onto the house and i could do everything i wanted so never even hooked up the 803.
The 802 will run my 1/2hr well pump and GE heat pump water heater along with any other parasitic loads that i didnt...
The preheat dosnt draw that much from the batterys. So what your seeing is normal. Mine just barly moves the amp meter.
You need to hold the starter switch until oil pressure shows on the gauge. Holding it 2-4 seconds after engine fireing is normal.
I have tested fireing these sets off at -6*...
The issue with a large aux tank on a trailer is going to be adjusting your tongue weight from full aux tanks to empty. Three 55gal barrels are 1,000lbs. This is why most trailer mounted generators use a belly fuel tank thats under the generator. This distributes the weight evenly full or empty.
Cut off the top and bottom inside the oven and weld some bed angle iron to them so there facing eachother. Is that what you had in mind? What wattage are they?
O ****. Scratch getting the schematic at this point. Your down to the hunt/peck and visual check method for a bit. I just had that pannel off on my set ladt week and **** theres alot of electronics in there that would not appreciate getting wet.
I might replace that solenoid due to how cheap...
Does it crank from the dead crank switch?
Do you have 24v at the start switch? If not there is a diode board behind the control pannel, in and on the left. Check for power in and out of every one.
Also get the colored wire diagram from on here. Spend a few minutes with it at the gen checking...
It does look like small wire in thr video but its 10awg and rated for 30a on a 30a breaker.
I might eventualy run the wire in a conduit thats why its not soow now.
As you may know we change the clocks tomorrow. This is when i do my full generator test on my 802a. I took this short video of my set running my house. It was running two chest freezers, one normal fridge and my electric dryer. I believe this is just under 6kw. My dryer element kicks on and...
