No valve!!!!!
When I first got my M923A1 I was new to 5 tons, the truck was just out of rebuild in 2010.
I was washing it and I noticed the valve on the front service glad hand was open, so I closed it and kelp on washing.
Then later in the week I drove the truck to town and started having...
I just had my pump rebuilt and got her installed, I bled the fuel lines and cracked open the injector lines and cranked it two or three times to get fuel coming out all the injector lines. Closed the lines and cracked it for about 3secs and it started.
You may need to crack all the injector...
I took my M925 out for a drive to post office. About 2.5 miles from the house I noticed that the transmission was trying to shift from 3 to 4th then back again, But as it turns out it was just slipping.
I slowed from about 20mph to about 5 mph then stopped. Put it back in gear (5-1) and it did...
His pump is like my pump on my M936, it does not have a screen on the top. Now my M923A1 has one but mot the M936.
It is due to the auto up on the wreckers not having the same type of pumps.
The bleed screw on the 8.3 is on the back side of the pump. It takes a 10mm wrench.
Just stand on the tire on look over on the back side of the injection pump and you will see it.
If the spring brake override releases the brakes I would check the roller valve on the parking brake.
Also make sure the front service glad hand has a vent on it and it is clear. When you release the brakes a little air vents out the glad hand.
Anyone have a good trick on installing a new Spindle Bushing in a M925?
I have removed the old one and need to install the new one without damaging it.
