OK, so you found what you wanted. But instead of deleting your ad I saved the info by moving this here to the Deuce forum - after a little "polishing"...
That way other members may have less trouble finding these parts.
... Deuce hub on a Deuce axle... (I only wrote that in response to Greg's question.)
Give me a bit more time to completely pull apart a M105 (A2) axle and then come up with full drawings/dimensions.
I agree: whatever the solution was, this is not just swapping parts.
.
Not the same... the only thing both hubs have in common is the diameter of the bore for the bearing cups.
The outer spindle diameter is 61,91mm for the M35, vs. 66.68mm on the M105. And the dimension "T" is 1/8" more for the 39590/39520 bearing, compared to the 392/3920. That means we could use...
You mean on the A2 axle... Good question; exactly what I want to do. (I have plenty of Deuce parts laying around - plus a few NOS M149 axles; just the axles with naked spindles, no hubs, no brakes.) Bearings shouldn't be a problem, but I'm sure I'll need a custom sleeve in order to use the M35...
They all have that...
The point here is that the A2 hubs are "shorter" so to speak, and the A2 drums protrude further outwards, so your Isuzu wheel doesn't fit there... But the same 16" wheel may work on the early (A1 ??) - style hub & drum. That is, if the wheel backspace is 8" or less...
Then the TM is not correct...(?) Because according to the book, the A1 has the same hub & drum assembly as the M35. But what can be seen in your picture is the hub of the A2 model.:?
If you don't have already... then I'd suggest to download TM 9-3830-206-34P. At least it will help you to identify each component.
That plug you are referring to is #46, in Fig.3. It is only a set screw for the coil spring preload, to adjust the drum brake action.
This has nothing to do with...
What you got (posted here...) is called crane hoist assembly and looks almost identical to what is shown in the TM 9-2320-279-24P, on Fig.335 (M977 SERIES, 8 x 8 HEAVY EXPANDED MOBILITY TACTICAL TRUCKS (HEMTT).
The following pages cover every single part of that hoist.
Hydraulic schematics are...

Guy joins SS at 6:00 am (rules? who cares...); immediately posts his question; no response so 25 min later he starts a second thread - same topic. (later that morning I merged both threads) Guy vanished, only one minute after his second post...
YES, with that punch you should be able to turn the shaft both ways; that is, easily in the CCW direction - and feeling quite some resistance, when turning it CW.
Here is an old thread to read.... Your brake band may be a bit too tight. Try loosening the adjuster bolt. If that doesn't help then...

ATL used to be my final landing- and truck rental spot. But then I moved my AO to the "Far-East" in NC, so I'm coming from the opposite direction, this year.
