In KY I got pulled over in my pickup once, with a glock in the glove box, and the state trooper chastised me for NOT having hollow-points in it! :D
I'll have a loaded magazine in the retro-rifle in a parade next Thurs.
No, it's all black furniture just poor lighting. The retro gun is a M16A1 upper on a Nodak Spud retro lower with M16A1 furniture.
Unfortunately both just semi-auto.
"Deuceman" Troy from this site.
Technically the floor holders aren't mounted yet, just sitting there. I was thinking about getting them Rhino-coated or something first, to put a softer touch on them. But either way...the dash install went fine, except the first hole I drilled near the glove box was too high. There was some...
Ok that's really what I thought but wanted to make sure. Now I'll go read up again on determining which fluid you have so as to add the proper kind, if needed.
Okay, I've been looking at my brake system lately and I have a very remedial question that I was hesitant to post but here goes: how do you open the master cylinder?
I have searched the -10 and -20 manuals and this site and can't find the answer to that.
Attached is a pic of mine. What is...
I just wanted to publicly thank Gimpyrob and Kipman for recently helping me bigtime, recovering some GL mercandise for me and getting it to Cincinnati. Thanks so much, guys. You're great individuals and this site is a great place for helpful folks. If I can ever return the favor from Knox or...
Got a camping trip coming up and wanted to be able to play some music (not while I'm driving, can't hear anyway). Picked up a 400 watt (24v) power inverter online for under $40. I was trying to figure out where to hook it up (it came with clips to go on the battery terminals, but...) I started...
Got the first light in the cab. Tried drilling a hole in the soft top support bar to snake the wires through that but couldn't stuff them through. Oh well.
Hey, here's a tip I haven't seen posted before: I wanted to remove the stop-post that prevented easy turn-on of the unfiltered light (I'm...
Yeah, I think I'm gonna pass my hot wire thru the slave cable grommet straight to the battery. Now I'm just looking for clean metal to ground to. I'll find something. The more challenging one will be the light I mount in the bed, er, cargo area. Whatever.
Thanks!
OK, I've searched this site for "electric passenger seat" in the Deuce forum, and I searched the term "electric" in both the -10 and -20 technical manuals. And I STILL need to ask this question:
In some of the dome light threads, people talk of patching into electrical access behind or...
OK, Napa part # 784353 Female Snap Terminal-Nylon. Plugs right into the light--snaps in quite firmly in fact. A box of 10 pcs cost me $3 and change.
I also bought plenty of 14 ga wire so I'm all set.
Y'all are talking about recovery but OP is asking about road trip. Not necessarily the same thing...
(i.e. I think he's gonna drive a long way ON PURPOSE, not because he has to  )
That's funny I haven't even tried putting mine in low range yet. Or engaged the front wheels, for that matter. Scared I'll break something, I guess.
Hey, back to the OP: what kind of highway speeds were you getting up to on I-71?
