Not true sandcobra. I have a 923 that I changed to an A1 sans moving the bed. I put a spare tire carrier from an A2 on it with very little modification and the 14.00 R20 Goodyear fits quite nicely. The A2 carrier bolted right in and I moved the intake stack forward a little to gain more entry...
I listened and my " New to me " 923 was making the same noise and had the same characteristics you stated above. It was a 2008 RRAD rebuild. Beautiful truck.
A quick back story. I won a 923 recently that I picked up and drove home. As soon as I left the National Guard Base and the truck shifted...
Anyone know offhand what size socket I need to pull the bearings on a 923 front axle inner seal change? I'm thinking I saw 3" somewhere but I can't be certain. Thanks.
I have been doing some research through the TM's and online about how the fan clutch actuator is supposed to work on the 923 but haven't been able to find a satisfactory answer to MY scenario. I have two 923's. On both trucks I can spin the fans without the trucks running and feel the clutches...
I just picked up a 923 this Tuesday from Eastover that was a 2008 rebuild from RRAD. I noticed immediately that the front end was locked in AWD. As soon as I got home I found 2 air lines switched on the auto engage valve. Works as advertised now. It looks to be an easy mistake to make too.
Well the good Lord must have been watching over me because at 19:02 i got the email saying my paid in full invoice was ready to be downloaded followed by a call from GL guy Dailey saying he had good news. He stated that they honestly never figured out the problem with Paypal but somehow got it...
I hate to tell you but every transaction, whether PayPal account or a CC payment goes through PayPal with GL. 3 employees told me it didn't at first. 3 people have since recounted that statement.
I received a call around 18:30 today from GL guy and he said that he was working with his invoice department who, believe it or not, has had this problem with PayPal before. He feels confident this will be fixed soon. He said I got my second extension to Friday and it will continue to Monday if...
I have no daily limits and had my credit line doubled weeks ago. I also contacted my CC company and had them note on my account to look for a large charge from this company.
So yesterday morning, while on vacation, I attempted to make a cash payment to the Bank of America account listed in...
I won 2 trucks on 06/07 and paid with a cc. According to them my card is bad and it got declined twice Friday. After literally an hour of arguing with them that can't be the case, I called my cc company again. They told me both times no charges were attempted let alone declined. I frantically...
No regulator needed. Start with zero air in the tank. I run my air compressor until I have 5 psi showing on the gauge and shut it off. It doesn't take much air to prime the system with fuel.
I installed a plug in the tank filler neck with a port for compressed air. A .223 cartridge in the vent tube, 5 psi of air and a few seconds later I had fuel coming out of the hand primer petcock. No hand priming required!
Thanks for having us today Adam and the burgers and dogs were absolutely delicious! And thanks for showing us around your place. You hang out with a great group of guys and it was a pleasure to meet and talk to everyone. Best of luck on your purchase and move. My 923 performed great on the trip...
