over 50 years in my old ford jeep..all the while on shell 50 (straight oil). Still runs like a 'train'. Never been touched!..What can I say?
Pee,ess..All my vehicles of the M series are running on it.
Pee..pee ess!..I do however add Molyslip to every engine.

and Axle.
A similar thread is running on a deuce that did not run properly either. Mine turned out to be AIR INGRESSING the system. The other persons problems..Also were caused by..Air INGRESSING the system. Take heed others starting to check out this "Fails to start or starts but wont run for long".fault.
Roger that! Glad you had success. I should have heeded the advises given also..(Gimp and rusty (amongst others) Took "Virtual HAMMERS!" to my head before the advise finally sunk in and the NOT so obvious cure was applied.
Flush the engine and change the oil filters. But first, You should remove inspect and clean the sump, (And) At that point check for damage or obvious wear.
Those that know me know I am cutting down on the collection. They also suspect (that(more than likely))..After this one.

It is 'good when you can just touch the oil level through the level plug with a crooked finger.
Just 'dripping out' is fine also, that is how I have them, and with 'Molyslip' added. (In every thing!).
(Strange..)..I have just checked all the 'known' sites and can not find the adaptors We have anywhere. Yet they came with the M62 wrecker (4 off)..and two other trucks. I will take a picture of them tomorrow.
I am puzzled, Why do you need a NATO co-axial connector?. All U.S. Trucks have two pin plugs and sockets. And thus American Two Pin Jumper cables. So, (In my case) I have to use a NATO converter to go from my (U,K, Truck) CO-Axial Jumper lead to the American Two pin truck socket. TO USE a U.K...
