NO..It is not that obvious at all. I will back track and check, and vote. I'm Obliged to you.
OK, i clicked on the goat and got a full page picture. No where to vote. And I'm sorry I can not see any way to vote at all. Why is it so difficult?.
You say, "I want to drive mine on the road as well as off road"
Your What? It would be more illuminating if you put in your post what Vehicle the tires are required for. Different vehicles require (and or use) different tires for the same application.
For example all my wartime jeeps, Willys...
extreme attention to detail. WSUCOUGARX gets my vote. Except that when I click Vote now I get the message, CHOOSE A vehicle..OK, so, HOW?
I can't see an option to choose.
Perhaps the power surges or becomes unregulated, and that breaker prevented over voltage damage? If you had not 'fixed it' you can almost bet the power would have stayed out.
Our power went off for a few hours, and my standby ex army 7KW twin cylinder electric start (Auto on - off when the power goes off - on) kicked in perfectly, I hardly noticed the change over.
Now it is thawing nicely here in south east U.K. and the roads are getting passable again.
Thank you the three of you. Combined, all the information with the pictures IS >understandable concise grammar without innuendo or 'guesswork'. or pictures with NO information on.<
This combined post should be a sticky so that Anyone especially 'Newbies' can visit, read, inwardly digest, and...
I have spent hours with the .M.s which are simply vague in the extreme just pictures and hints absalutely no instructions.
I find the same in help forums.
How to turn DOWN the fuel on the 5 ton LDS 465 engine.
A big headache later and all and every answer is for turn up the fuel, On a deuce...
That bit of info is very greatly appreciated.(As I don't do "climbing up on top of engines" any more,..And yes it also jogged my memory. So again thank you and adjustments will be made when the snow clears.
From my workshop benches! where it has blown in from the eaves and lies over a foot deep...
When the valve is fitted correctly you will probably see that pressure at idle. (More than I could see with your red print on fawn text background steel soldiers page. Please, Change it to White.
Checked all the TMs but did not spot where the Fuel can be cut down. WITH the F.D.C. Disconnected. All and any adjustment for rich/weak seems to be carried out on the fuel density compensator,
So, My question is. How can I cut back the fuel as the truck has more power and runs great, But smokes...
Could be wrong but I seem to recall they were used on U.K. bases at that period, and even later. Certainly the multifuels were. In fact my 530C came off a base in the eighties!.
Seriously Any spring is a good spring. I have a huge box selection of differing springs just for replacement purposes. There is nothing in that box that will not match to any replacement we might need.
As some advised, I have left the fuel density compensator out of the circuit, and turned down the fuel.
I have re-connected the manifold flame heater again though.
And now all's good.
