Yep. Keep in mind that while one of the reasons these must be vented is heat dispersal the second is gas leak dispersal. And propane is heavier than air, so it sinks.
The potential issue with having an inside lower vent is if there were a leak, you flood the hab with gas...
Did you rebuild/insulate the forward upper boxes that you set up for storage?
My OEM heater up there has never functioned properly (goes to "fault" constantly). And LOL at the massive cavern on the left that holds the tiny 110v fan.
I'm torn between using the space for internal...
Still tinkering with the bathroom. Got two of the three walls framed and panels cut. The rear-most wall encompasses the (unused) driver-side door. I want to retain the ability to open the door (there will be a small back patio and I'm planning on adding a shower outlet...
Toss a 12v PC fan in there for good measure. Noctua 120 and 140 are dead silent. And if you want to get *really* fancy, add a 100° switch.

fyi: the original Hawkers are great batteries, but any 12v car/truck batteries would have worked. And unless you live above the arctic circle, two batteries are all that are needed. Even the commercial 6TL batteries from NAPA or Interstate are overkill. And unless it's an A1R...
Oh, now I have some ideas for painting mine.
*btw: if it shows up on the national news someday with a bunch of triggered people pointing at it...you guys never read this and never heard of me
;p
Yeah, but single bed is too crowded for sleeping two. And the dog doesn't really like to share her floor with overnight guests.
Just as soon that they leave...

Started on the OEM lighting deletes today. Pulled down the conduit and fixtures. Also pulling the micro switches for the blackout shades (I may keep the rear door switch and arm it as an alarm trigger).
I have to mock up the rest of the bathroom so I can land my electrical outlet in...
Rgr all.
Yeah, the OEM panel in there is about what I would have installed in a commercial warehouse, shop, etc. It's *way* too big.
Currently here's a 100amp main, a 50amp, a 30amp, three 20amp, and three 15amp. I've neutered it so as to delete the 208 phase stuff.
At most...
Yeah, same concept.
But I'm not worried about the heater shifting under the floor. I'm worried about the flooring planks bouncing loose while catching air on logging trails. I suspect that the flooring should be secured by more than gravity (hence my inquiries if builders...
OK, so here's what I ended up with. Simple, inexpensive, and initial testing shows quite effective.
A single 7.5' x 1.5' mat runs down the center of the 12' box and while I intended to snag another mat for more coverage I don't think my floorplan will require it...
My genset rides in front of the battery box.
I've posted pics in the past and have tons of them but my laptop won't access my recovery drive. The data is all there, it just an crappy old laptop not seeing the drive adaptor.
Yes, I have shore power to the panel...
