I did an article on the GOER not long ago for Classic Military Vehicles magazine (UK). I may still have photos at hand - drop me a PM with your email and I'll try to fix you up.

RE: Getting 52 M35 6X6 need checklist for title acquirement
I don't live in Ky - so I certainly don't speak with authority - but were I you in addition to the title I'd get a bill of sale - and first try to get a KY title with the bill of sale. If that didn't work, then I'd go back (later)...
There is no such thing as a M63A2 manufactured by BMY.
A M63 is a five-ton G744 cab and chassis. The G744 series trucks were replaced by the 800 series trucks, and they were in turn replaced by the 900 series. BMY started building five tons with the 900 series - so the M63A2 is about 20 years...
IIRC - there is some sort of interference between the alignment to the output of the deuce accessory drive and a crossmember. Check this before spending money.

The vise mounting plate for the M543 and M816 is a genuine factory made part. I found the rear of bed mounting of the vise on my M62 inconvenient, and moved it to the bumper - I also installed the vise off of a M88 - it is "substantial".

Did you ask Memphis about the good used - or did you only ask for new? And, as was pointed out by mo-mudder, fuel pressue definately matters.

The intank pump on a M211/M135 is THE fuel pump. The intank pump on the M35A2 is merely a pump to feed fuel to a gear pump, which then feeds fuel to the hydraulic head, which sends it to the cylinders. The M35A2 will have far too much volume, and probably too much pressure as well - to use on...
RE: Re: RE: some pics from the show..
I'll be the guy wandering around in a Military Vehicles Magazine golf shirt with a camera in my hand - although there is a chance that two of us will be there meeting that description. I'm encouraging the editor to drop by as well.
See ya'll there!

The driveshaft from the GMC is a reasonably sought after part (they have a tendency to fall out). You should definately get that in the deal, and sell it on eBay.

RE: Re: RE: Bed Differences
I'll try to round up some photos to illustrate the differences. The most obvious is the mounting of the trailer receptacle.

David Doyle
Sounds like the truck is running normally. Remember, these trucks were designed for primary use on non-paved roads, primarily at speeds of 30 MPH or less.

Discounting the M34 bed, as well as the M35A3 bed, I can think of two versions of the non-dropside M35 bed, and two versions of the dropside bed.
If you'll send me the make, and VIN number of the truck, I can probably help narrow down what it came with.

RE: Hope This Helps...
Thanks guys.
In most instances, the best way to tell if the sring seat is original is to look at the passenger's seat. When trucks are converted, oftentimes they cut the box seat away, leaving only the right side in place to support the passenger's seat.
Sometimes...
That is my take as well. The Blue Angels hopefully however will prove to be a big "draw" from the community. The profits from the show go to Yankee Air Museum, who have always needed the money - moreso after the fire of a few years ago.
We had some of the warbird pilots over playing with the...
As an aside, during the 1950s the military converted a M34 by installing the GMC engine and automatic transmission. I have photos, and copies of some of the test reports on this. What I have not seen is if they blocked out low range on the M34 transfer.
If not, I would expect with the...
