Towing an Off Road / Overland FMTV

I have. I put a set on my M1082 trailer. Haven't really had much chance to test them out, but I will say find a brand with *true* white. The RGB ones only cast yellow and it's just not as bright as it should be for some reason. The truck will get something with nice bright white (dimmable...

    M1088 camper conversion

Interesting concept. I'd not thought of using both.

Maryland - M1078 Title and Tags

Pretty much exactly how it's done in Texas for an FMV registration.

Maryland - M1078 Title and Tags

The problem you mention is a real one. GP is *NOT* a "dealership" and thus cannot legally do the title re-assignment that the include with the SF97. Some states (and even some clerks) overlook it. In Texas, the county clerks all have GP "red flagged" on their list. There is a very specific...

What's the longest box you can mount on M1078 bed?

I agree with Chucky. I wouldn't go over 14' w/o relocating the spare and air intake (16' if you did relocate).

What's the longest box you can mount on M1078 bed?

Are you relocating the spare/air intake?

Anyone swap out their steering wheel?

If you are really set on wireless, there are some stupid expensive ways to go. But again, I'm not a fan personally. https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productdetails.asp?RecId=27707

Anyone swap out their steering wheel?

Here's a simple concept to add buttons to a wheel. Basically just add something with holes.
  15. Third From Texas

Anyone swap out their steering wheel?

I'm a retired IT system admin and one thing has never changed. If you can avoid wireless in *any* situation, then you hard-wire it. Wireless presents all sorts of failure and interference problems (dead battery, lost signal, device not connected, yada, yada). Wire it and be done with it. For...

M1088 with 4 (Four) leads into the battery box

That is how my 98 and 94 trucks are. My 2008 only has one 24v in, but the other trucks had one extra 24v lead. But *absolutely* do as Mario suggests and meter out the leads. Be a pity to fry some of the expensive bits.

Will CTIS Protectors mount to a Hutchinson aluminum wheel?

Did you make these work? Just curious if you had to extend the stand-offs or anything.

He's in this discussion. I can't hurt to ask him. I don't have the info.
