    Lowering M931a2 5th wheel

I measured two 931s side by side. The 11-20 truck was 46" at the rear most point of the ramps, the 14-20 truck was 48". So switching to G177s would gain you two inches. Standard civi fifth wheel plate height is 48". You will have a long way to go to legally carry a 13'6" trailer no matter what...

    towing a m1009

I also was a tow truck operator and recovery specialist for years. If you want to make additional work for yourself for NO reason at all go ahead and waste your time disconnecting the driveshaft. It is a complete waste of time on THESE trucks and that's what we are talking about. It is only...

    towing a m1009

Yes, no issues. The transfer case in N divorces the driveline from the tranny, so no issues with an uncooled tranny. Very popular truck to pull behind bigger green iron.

    Detailed Drawings 931A2

What exactly are you looking for? These are pretty explicit. I will tell you that I measured two trucks side by side at Ft Drum. The 931A0 was 46" at the ramp as indicated in your first example. The 931A2 that I bought was also there and it measured 48" at the same point. So the fifth wheel...

    First M35A2C New-to-me

Well now that its running (YAY!) off of a outside fuel source I still have to pull the fuel tank (its got over an inch of what I can only describe as road tar mixed with super glue), go through the brakes, adjust the idle figure out the low air pressure, fix a leak in the heater core, etc...
