Don't know the number, but it is by posts. Keep on posting and you'll move up in rank and be able to put ads in the classified section as soon as you reach 100 :cookoo:
Thanks for the kind words. It was a pleasure to hang with you and your boy. Met1, you get your leak and smoke looked at?
Another thing to look at keeping are the brake parts. The shoes, p-brake stuff and all the hardware are tough to find. If you are just gonna toss the stuff, PM me.
Mark is truly a good person. The kind you meet only a hand full of times in life.
Was your butt sore after the trip
Looking forward to seeing what you do to the beast, and I gotta say, spin ons are the single best addition to the truck. I should have done it years ago!
I'd say it might fit, but would be incorrect for the engine. If the truck isn't your daily driver, pull the pump and have it rebuilt, or, see if the ADS shop has an exchange.
I've never had to do any work on that. It's the intake heater. Until you get it fixed, you can cap it off at the filter on the fuel pump side of the engine. Try not to drive it like it is, it can cause a fire.
Hopefully someone who has worked on theirs will pipe up and be able to give you some...
Yup, internal parts wearing. Go head and run the ATF. I ran 20-25 gals of hyd oil this last trip to the desert and it worked fine. My buddy, Hole, ran 100% hyd oil and he ran good but in the cold temps we had, around 30 over night, it was a tad hard starting in the AM but was good after that...
Don't focus on bubbles in return lines. A good runnind engine has airiated fuel there. My junk exibits the same thing yours does. Cold weather, it is harder starting and the idle is very low. I m warmer temps, it fires right up and idles fine. It is most likely the starting circuit in the pump.
It might be the intake temp sensor for the KSB valve. Can't make it out too well, but that engine has limited electronics on it. The only electrical thing that won't let it start is the shut off sol. You said something about rusty fuel in the filter in a prior post, IF the rust/rust causing...
It is item number 240.
