    Lots of Air in Fuel....

The overflow is on the return side. It is normal to have fuel that looks airiated there. That is the fuel the pump uses for cooling. There should be very little to no fuel comming form the injectors. Air in fuel will give a hard start complaint, low power/white smoke, start and die... Does the...

Sometimes the posting field is only as wide as the screen, other times it is wider than the screen and there is no way to scroll over to proof...

    Aftermarket temp sensor......Location?

Always install temp senders at a location as close to the coolant outlet, (stat housing), as possible. That will be the place where the coolant is hottest.

    m4 sherman radial engine question

The one and only radial that runs at the Museum is in one of the Priests. We have to go turn it over every few months. I'd like to make it run, but I know nada about radials. If I was to bone up on them there are a few other vehicles that could be brought back the living world.

installing turbo on 818 with jakes

Is the turbo a divided entry? If so, give me the p/n and i'll check the brakes. 25B's shouldn't be used with divided entry turbos. Bad things happen.

Ring Gear Inspection: How to rotate the engine?

Or, you can turn it from the air compressor pulley. If the belt slips, put a bit of pressure on the belt with your hand. It works fine.

    Brake questions

The two don't mix. The BFS and dot 5 you get at Kragan are not the same.

    Brake questions

When BFS gets old it turns amber. If the truck came out of service from Uncle Sugar, it has old BFS. BFS...dot5 is not the same as civi dot3 or dot5. You can flush the system out with what ever flavor brake fluid you choose to use...I did mine with plain 'ol Prestone dot3 and have had no issues...

    Windshield Wiper Motors

There are electric wipers for the deuce. The A3 has/had them. They are not cheap though. As for replacement ones, they are out there. Stay away from the Chinese ones, they fail very fast. Best bet is to find a junk yard and pull some off of a vehicle there. There are a few metal ones floating...
