I'm thinking for tools and trailer jacks. I wanted to mount a hydro winch to a trailer eventually. I guess I'll have to start looking for a pto and pump. I want to put this on my 818.
If you get them to SC, I can take them all the way to Washington DC at the end of the month. I'm also traveling to Norfolk, VA in 2 weeks.
Or if they can get close to SC, I maybe able to go get them and bring them up.
I think Front line has some of the regulators. For $100, I can get a new regulator from them, and slap it on. Or I can get a good used takeout for $100. The one I 'rebuilt' might have other issues, and the 'good take out' might die in a week.
It's a carp shoot.
Ok, back to the Wet line question and options. I just thought about this today. Would it be possible for limited use, to run a wet line setup using the power steering pump? I've seen guys make pickups dump using the PS pumps.
Any thoughts?
I don't like the Tachograph for the same reasons Bruce stated. Too much going on in one small area.
Another thing I like to do is to standardize my trucks, what I mean is, I swapped the oil, air, etc gauges around in the deuces I used to have so they were all in the same place. I panicked one...
Yes, that auto coupler looks very desirable. My wife would probably buy one for me, as she HATES trying to guide me to the hookup.
So it is commercial? like off a pup trailer? Where could I get one?
We'd start on the dishes and everyone would roll out. It's ok, we still had a blast and will be back next year cooking, if Cabell will still let me help... ;-)
Thanks, I have several block heaters for cummins bt and is series engines, the ones with the 1in threaded heater coil. I maybe able to drill and tap the plate to mount the heater on? I will take a peek at it the next time I'm up by the truck.
Looking for a wrecker spotlight and another folding bumper step if you see one Mike. also could use a M35 start switch, and a couple of auxlilary switches.
I sold a m109 a year ago, and as I was taking it to the buyer, I rolled the driver window down and it stopped- it used to be the smoothest window I've every had. So I put a little pressure on the handle and CRACK ruined the glass. I had to take the one out of my truck and give it to the buyer.
My state doesn't have a form. My State Trooper friend went to DMV and asked for one, they said that I had to bring the vehicle in. He said, it isn't legal to drive without being registered. They told him I could get a temp tag. Well, the SF-97 can take longer than that, or what if he bought it...
WOW! as a diesel mechanic and a railroader, I loved the pics! You've got me thinking about finding a m813 frame and building a m818 with a shelter on it too!
Very well done sir! I would love to see your rig in person one day.
The inner one looks like it might be at a higher pressure than the outer... or it has more tread depth and is contacting less. but that should raise the outer less depth tire up more, so that if the difference is great enough, the outer tire might not contact at all if it was unloaded.
Hi! Welcome to the site.
I just got an m818 and I love it already. Are you planning to keep the tool box and spare tire mount? I'm looking for a tool box if you won't be needing yours.
Make sure you post pictures! We love projects! Some guys don't like stock trucks getting modified, but it's...
There is only a couple of breakers on a stock M35. On is under the hood on the firewall directly in front of the driver. The others are in the light switch itself.
They will reset when they cool down. I was driving one night right after I put the convoy light kit on my truck, and every so...
They have the turbo NHC 250, I think that makes them a 290. If you want to use it daily, I would recommend just getting a used civi unit. Some of the parts are bound to be odd ball.
