OK. A few pics of some of the stuff I brought home. Anyone got a good pic of the item in pic 2097 in use? I also have a few things stashed for a future trip to gather items for an upcomming event to try a secondary income since we went on Workshare starting today. In essence, I got layed off...
It will be freekin' HOT in July, but I guess i'd be up for it. Just gotta remember the Edgar Winter Super ****** White SPF 90. I got SMOKED today! I usually don't :?:. George, the sun has wiped me out. I am feeling extermely lazy. Looks like i'll post up tomorrow with the pics I took
I got some pics for you BLKHMMWV. Picked up a wake board and a cooling fan for one of the M113's at the museum for a whopping $50.00! Also dug out some other goodies and put them aside for a future run for resale. I'll post some pics in a bit. It was a bit sunny out there, My bald head got burnt!
:ditto: on all but the auto drains. Well, I installed the gun mount, have the washer kit AND instructions, but still need to install it, did 1/2 of the solargizer 'cause I had to do batteries, so I did the cool quick disconnect clamps...still gotta wire the kit in, and have the tank dome light...
What is the RPM when it vibrates? The idle might be too low. If it doesn't vibrate any where else in the range from off idle to rated RPM, there most likely isn't an engine issue. Raise the idle 25 or so RPM and give that a try.
I don't have much experience working on the A3's, but most all I have seen have had flats, and if there were no flats, it is due to the CTIS being disabled. I have heard it is a system with a few issues. If it were my truck, i'd disable it too. I would suck to have a flat out on the road or out...
There is a definate difference between a miss...dead cylinder... and a vibration. If it has a dead cylinder, it will shake at idle and you will hear it. Instead of a nice smooth rattling marble sound, the sound the engine makes will have an audible break in the sound you hear...kinda hard to...
Nay, there are tools all over the place, but one or more of us usually bring tools so you don't need to scrounge for them. You pull your own stuff unless it's big, like cabs, engines, trans or t-case, etc. Alll that is asked is that you do not pull from a complete runner....just ask first. Bring...
Most likely, gimmie a call. I called out there today, all is a go! Last time out, it was still a no on the A3, but things change. I think there will be a guy from AZ out ther too. I forget who it is. He said he'd be there earlier than noon, so if we meet at the stand earlier, we can hook up with...
Prices are very reasonable...lots o cool stuff. I gotta remember to bring writing material to take down some NSN's of things to see what they are. I'll call today to confirm and post up later. MMMMM...tacos  MMMM...junkyard
I got the replacement window seals...the ones around the drivers side and pas. side door windows..at Memphis. The seal strip for the hard top can be had at Memphis or McMaster. Memphis also has the weather strip for the door to cab sealing and the felt for the glass area. You'll be amazed how...
Here's some pics of the brake stuff.
The first 4 are of the stuff in the M8 in question. The next two are of the MC and hydrovac of an un touched M20 showing the two line MC. The hydrovac on the M8 is larger in diameter than the one on the M20. The last few are of the "touched up" M8 we are...
