Remember, just because DLA received the item doesn't mean that it was going to be sold/auctioned/scapped. Vehicles end up with police and fire departments, with the Navy, Coast Guard, Marines... even the Border Patrol. May end up being shipped to a NG or USAR unit as well. So, it makes sense...
Ok... so... you want an MRAP halftrack... why not start with an MRAP Chassis? There's one being advertised on here right now. I'd go with some sort of Caterpillar track system. find a smaller or medium sized Dozer and pull parts off of that. That way you don't run into supply issues later...
Factor here was also an all metal set of tracks vs. a rubber & metal set, that allowed for the "easiness" of the slide.
In all reality, basic issues. Wrong end of trailer being the biggest, then again those ramps didn't look like they could have handled the weight...
Installed the Driver's side new arm and mirror today. I added one of the plastic washers between the two parts of the door mount for the mirror since I had it off and it seemed to make sense to me.
Correct. Trucks are Rolling Stock. GovPlanet has the Rolling stock contract. This also includes support equipment, trailers, and similar.
Government liquidations still has the non-rolling stock. That is the spare parts, tool boxes, and such.
Also check to make sure your circuit breaker for the Transmission EDU is good. that reminds me of a problem I had with a truck here. ensure the connections behind the block are solid too.
