We have the 53” tires on ours and yes speed went way up. But we spread the rear
axles (obviously!) different rear spring, made blocks to raise the front axle. raised the bed and we used the stock A-3 rims.
5 years in and don’t regret a thin. Our profile pictrue shows what it looks like.
The engines I have built (aircraft,car,truck,boat gocart etc) have all been built
with 1422/8802 a-2, or a-6 sealant. Never EVER seep,leak,nothing.
on opposed 4&6 cylinder aircraft engines,my customers always want
to use the neat silicone valve cover color (red,blue etc)gaskets. Then I tell them...
Not a fan of “balance beads”, aviation form a gasket is much better thread sealant
or anyone around aviation knows 1422 or 8802 sealant. Fuel tank stuff.

I have to ask the obvious question, after reading post after post….etc. about the mechanical fuel pump pushing fuel through the vent line? Why not run this
“Vent line” to a tee to the fuel tank vent line?

We welded a 9”X3” peddle to our foot brake lever.
It’s nice to be at a stop light and have both feet resting on the brake instead of one foot pushing down. And letting others drive your truck it’s a little piece of mind.
In answer to your question, it’s a 27’ single wheel double axle trailer, quite heavy duty empty weight is
about 4400 lbs. we have a 16’ double axle aluminum trailer we pull the jeep on for extended camping trips. It’s weight is under 1400 lbs. and of course it’s night and day difference.
