You already have it home BEFORE the EUC cleared? I had to get my EUC from Battlecreek before I could recover mine! Will wonders never cease?
Anyways, i hope you rnjoy yours as much as i have mine.
Yeah my 1008 has paid for itself this year with all the snow and ice that we have had. Wish I could have sent ya some of this stuff just so that you could play in it!
Of course in snow/ice you must always remember that you can't STOP as fast as you can GO!:-D
Great news. Glad it is all working now. One question: Why not just use the electric lift pump? It sure saves the starter when you change fuel filters.:-D
Did they put a torque converter lockup on your truck? The 700R4 needs a closed loop lockup for the torque converter.
You shouldn't need to turn the prop shaft (we call it a driveshaft) to get the shifter to move into the park position. You might have to turn the shaft to get the pawl to drop...
Boy I really need to thank Lance for that adapter! I found some for $40.00 plus shipping here in Indiana.

Hope this helps you out.
I was just wondering about this truck. Is it in the dumpster yet?
Or have you calmed down and now have it finished?
I have never attempted a build like this. Probably because I KNOW that I would have put it in the dumpster by now!
But I hope that you are a much calmer man than I...
