I got the batteries with the threaded contacts and traditional posts. Left the protective covers on the posts, and all my leads are secured with the threaded nut.

Please read, so we don't have the same conversation over again. Short answer: the reason a motor is preferred is because the postlube function involves running the pump for long enough to help cool the turbo...
The wrecker *shouldn't* be required for this evolution.
Replaced all the fuel filters today, and replaced the oil guage. Thought I had to replace the oil sender, too... until I pulled it out and found out that it already was a 120 PSI sender. No worries - all in good fun. Now just have W/C...
RE: Not really any of my business but.....
Thanks for the info... We will try to get to Cades Cove.
Yes, I realize that taking the eastern route, we are adding some miles. However, because the Blue Ridge Parkway parallels (roughly) I-81, we wanted to add that to the fun stuff. Plus, we have...
Here it goes:
July 21 - Cheboygan to Ann Arbor
July 22 - Ann Arbor to Cleveland
July 23 - Cleveland to Beckley, WV
July 24 - Beckley, WV to Great Smoky Mountains NP
July 26 - GSM NP to Marietta, GA

That's the plan right now... I don't even know that...

Most retail places will charge 200 for a good take out. Awhile back someone on this site posted some info about buying just the pump part from the original manufacturer as a group buy (they still make the pump for the military), and would charge $250 for it. Memphis offers a...

There's a reason the capacities dataplate says the engine has 20 quarts of oil, 22 with filters. You SHOULD be 2 quarts high if you check your oil on a cold engine. Also, wierd pressures can also be attributed to mis-matched senders and guages.

RDM - Sorry for getting your hopes up. I found out last night that both the M101 and the axles have been sold - so no option to leave either behind.
hndrsonj - I don't know how you could put anything on the M103... with that hoist bar and such (see Bjorn's post). The only option would be to...
If we're putting stuff in the bed, I may as well put the axles in the bed and leave the M101 at home. We are using the deuce to take care of some of our HHG move, so I don't think there will be room for a trailer. Let the cogitation begin...

Clinto brings up a good point... the M101 will be used to transport some axles, but will be empty otherwise. With a certain HIAB cranetruck, I am sure we can make something happen... the only question becomes - how do we unload the trailer when we get to ATL?
I am open to suggestions on...
RE: Re: RE: I Need A Starter or a Rebuilt Starter
It may be of no concern to you.... but the man is trying to run a business, and doesn't want comments about the quality of the shop to build up an undeserved bad name. He's just trying to set the record straight for any future customers.
