    M135 Advice please.......................??

I would check the vent on the firewall for obstruction. I had a similar issue turned out the air in the booster was not releasing fast enough. Every time I use the brake I had to wait a second or two before I could take off again, brakes would lock until enough air from the booster was released...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Well I did manage to get the winch in the back bolted in today. So now I can load those big heavy 11.00 x 20 spare tires in the back by myself now. It got dark so the wiring and controls will have to wait until tomorrow. I also got the base today so I was able to finish installing the new...

    Working the Deuce, Vol. 12,385

I found this solution to be quite effective. Dual systems 12v & 24v. This dual system from scratch costs about the same as a replacement military alternator. But these alternators put out much more amps. they are much cheaper to replace or rebuild in the future as well.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

To be honest I am not exactly sure yet. My basic idea is as follows. I bought a 2 1/2 ton ATV winch from TRC for $80. I will be mounting it in the head of the bed just below the head ache rack tomorrow. Its a very small 12v winch. I have a dual alternators on my deuce 12v and 24v system. I would...

    deuce winch overhaul

I have rebuilt the Garwood winch that is installed on my Deuce. I did not use a TM to do it. I did it by seat of my pants, actually very simple to do. One issue will be the removal of the two key stocks in the shaft to get the drum off they are a real bear. I finally took it to a machine shop to...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I thought about 395's but I got the 11.00x20's for $100 bucks each so I went for it since I was able to use existing rims rather than having to pay cost of 395's and buy MRAP or Hemitt's with adaptors.
