You are probably correct, just seems like a lot of unnecessary baffles blocking airflow path to the turbo.

Hello all. I have an M998 that I'm doing a 6.2 to 6.5l TD swap on and was looking at all the air box to see what could be done to help with air flow to the turbo. The filter looks like about 1/2 of it is covered with that baffle. Has anyone trimmed that baffle and or the stack to help with air...

The part number is on the transformer but 8f you can't find it, I can get the number for you tomorrow.

Different groups go out multiple times during the day and night. You can always find someone to go out with.

I cut the sleeves, not sure it you have to or not but I pulled and mine wasn't coming off. I did not change the power inlet filter.

I bought mine through supplyhouse.com. I think it was $41. I got it pretty fast. I use offroad diesel in mine also and yes it is dyed red. Hope this helps.

Just to follow back up on this, I ordered a new ignition transformer to try. It arrived today and I installed it. The heater now works again, I hope that is what fixed it and this isn't just a temporary thing.

Looks like that is on hold for a bit. The Chambersburg yard is shutting down for inventory after today till the 13th of Jan. But, if my shipper doesn't get my item picked up today and I end up having to go in Jan, I will keep you in mind.

Have you installed these yet? How is your temps doing if so? I'd like to replace my fan to reduce the noise and power rob if Temps are still in a good range.
