The 506 blocks aren't very good, they did use a smaller outer bolt (10mm vs. 12mm) for the mains, but they cracked worse then any previous block.

I've had 3 4911 pumps rebuilt, they all use 12mm threads (5/8sae or 16mm wrench) plus several other 6.5 specific pumps (any DB2831 pump)
They do sell an adapter so you don't have to change lines, but they are just as expensive as a new set of lines.

All 6.2 and 6.5 mechanical injection pump hardlines from injection pump to injector use the same thread and fittings. And follow the same path, so they are all technically interchangeable (to some degree).
Early 6.2 injectors were long body and coarse thread into head, later 6.2 were long body...
Oh, yeah, these aren't press fit pulleys, I work on too many vehicles to keep track sometimes. Glad you got it off though.

Offset and backspacing are two different things.
Backspace is the distance from mounting point to back of rim.
Offset is the distance from the centerline of rim to the mounting surface.
I'm not sure on stock m1009 rims, but the rallye wheels are 15x8, with a 4.5" backspace, giving it a .5"...
The banks was manufactured for the 6.2. Anything under 10psi and 1100F for EGT, your all set. Stud the top and bottom end of the motor, you could be able to boost upwards of 15Psi.

I've had people tell me they work fine, but I have lots of friends with lifted Cherokees, they all swap out their LED lamps for winter because they all ice over. I think climates play a huge part, we typically get the wet heavy snow, I think if it was colder with lighter snow it may not be as...
As an FYI to all, trucklite LED 5x7 headlights are NOT heated, I spoken directly with them, some vendors claim heated, but they are not. So any place with fog or possible icy conditions, snow etc. These lights are NOT good for that weather. I've tried, but they always get a slushy/ice coating...
If he's using the boom as the "pole", would that not be excluded as bad etiquette?
Just want to satisfy some curiosity, I've seen fire trucks hang them from the ladders, and they get wrapped up occasionally.

But not always the case, my 6.2 started having an overheating issue, the 190F thermostat was opening real late, like starting at 200, fully open at 220. I would bet it would have eventually failed to open at all.

I just did a gasser a few years ago, and except for 2 or three fasteners on the firewall, where they require a soldier "B", I had no issues. Some of the fasteners were rusted, but PB Blaster or a cutoff wheel solved all that.
I would much rather fight a few fasteners, then to remove a cab for...
That's what mine is, a rolling resto, not a whole lot of daily driving, but it gets some work done. 4 or 5 years and still haven't found the time for a repaint...
And as for what I did to mine today, fixed one wiper, and drove her around, making sure there are no issues with the up coming Weare...
Does the high beam indicator stay lit? It may dim out, but if it stays lit, you need to swap ground and high beam wires. If the high beam indicator goes out, then you need to swap low beam and ground.
I don't know why, but some bulb manufactures switch the location of the tabs/wires. So...
What is actually sounds like is intermittent contact within the horn button. It's a contact to ground, so any corrosion with cause loss of voltage signal, which can mean reduced power to solenoid. I would pull the horn button and clean up with cleaning alcohol, then reassemble and see how they...
Here's a few updated pictures of mine for what it's worth, Longshot2171 has a great MV, best of luck to all.
Mine has been a work in progress, finally was able to get back to dual rear tires. I have to look it up, but I think I picked up the truck in 2014.... so 4 years to finally put duals on...
Two things, and more really just an informational post. But starter clearance is typically only needed when doing the swap with an Advance Adapters housing, or similar conversion housing. Or real early cast iron housings, with mechanical clutch.
And second is almost all 4 speed 1 tons were...
