    M35A3 Dash Panel

I was able to locate a contractor searching the internet from the part numbers in the TM. All of the military contractors seem to require a minimum order, so I had to buy more than I needed. I sold what I wasn't keeping. Here is the contractor info along with the part numbers for each lens...

    M35A2 Pioneer Tool Handles length

Unfortunately, the shovels are no longer made here in the US, and that poses a real logistics issue because they are too long for the racks. Union Tool, made the correct length shovel and I was fortunate to get two before I found out they closed the plant in PA, that was making them. Check...

Convert hard top to soft top

Is there even a source to obtain the soft top hardware? Without taking off a parts truck. I'm talking New, Old Stock surplus, or New production. The two door pieces, the two poles that connect along the back, and the three cab bows. I know Saturn Surplus has the cab bows, but I have not...

Military Fire Extinguishers and their refilling...

So what or better yet, who is the contractor for the current issue USGI Fire Extiguishers? It would be nice to keep things prototypical, and if the trucks were just recently released from service as mine was, they more than likely would have been fitted with the current issue extinguisher...

Source for dash panel 1/4 turn fasteners?

Via an internet search, I found the part number at Pete Debella Jeep Parts. I called to inquire, and he said he has them. Aluminum finish, new, old stock. I ordered some and we'll see if they are what I am expecting. He does not have the retaining washer(push on nut) though. No big deal, as...

Source for dash panel 1/4 turn fasteners?

Has anyone found the actual military part number and a source for the correct post and clips? The clips are secured to the dash wall itself, but the more important piece is the screw post used to secure the guage panel to the dash wall. :-?

    M35A3 Dash Panel

I think the new panel will give a little added guage illumination as well as the addition of a Low Air Light. I will simply wire the center panel light up to the other two guage lights and make three across. Now that we have some more bareable temperatures, an outside project can help the winter...

    Strange Coolant Leak

I did that replacement last spring. You need to unscrew the water jacket bolts, and remove the water jackets to replace the hoses. It really is the fastest way to do it. The gaskets were bought from Memphis Equipment, along with the hoses and clamps. When the package arrived, I just drained the...

    Blackout light colors

Fronts should be two amber, making the split wine glass. Rears are double red, (two wine glasses) Rear stop is a single un-split amber wine glass.

Modifications on my M35 in the last few years.

Love the vice, and the front pintle. Great ideas! also... What is the data plate on the tunnel next to the transfer case lever? I have the PTO data plate on the side of the tunnel but haven't seen one on top. Yours has a lot more writing on it, than FWD NUETRAL REV.
