I used a 383 OD from Omni-Coatings/ PPG. It was professionally applied by the shop that I ued to help me restore the truck. We had to add hardener and flattening agent to give the CARC appearance.
I also used some of the 383 from Rapco too. You will see it in the pic of the front marker light...
I have seen the doubles slpit.
One is placed on the left side of the driver just adjacent to the door, and the other in the same spot, only on the passenger's side. Seems that this would give the leg room w/out sacrificing space.
For a large truck, the cabs are awfully cramped.
Sorry. I put the part/ contractor info in a different thread.
Here is the contractor info along with the part numbers for each lens.

Well, When I was in the market for a military vehicle, I wanted the m151. I had the restored 1/4 ton Canadian Military trailer, and thought the MUTT, would be a nice addition. Price was an issue though. So no MUTT for me.
Then I found a seller on eBay, who is also on this site. He had a large...
Great Video!
Clear and easy to view. I especially like the Fire Ext mounted on the front of the bed. I was thinking of doing the exact same thing. Now that I have seen it, I think it is going to happen.
Last year at Aberdeen, I had the oportunity to try this out.
There was a man selling US M101 (3/4 ton) curved lunettes, and I saw a man with an M101 CDN2 (1/4 ton) trailer. I tried the US M101 lunette on the CDN2, and unfortunately, the diameter of the lunette was too wide.
So the only...
It is too bad that there are only the larger trailers now. The spare tire mount is a good idea though if you can't find it anywhere else.
I have a 1/4 ton jeep trailer (Canadian M101). The size, and weight are just so much more manageable then the larger US M101s. Certainly easier to store and...
If you are looking to replace the entire seat, I saw TnJ Murray selling them last year at Aberdeen. I think he was asking $125. Mine are like new, otherwise I would have bought two, since my truck had the bench removed by the unit that it was issued to and the A-Driver was given a second...

Sure thing. Thanks for the compliments.
I used 383 green from Omni-Coatings made by PPG. The shop that I use mixed in the flatening agent, to dull it up. The nice thing is that it is a smooth finish unlike a 100% CARC, and allows the water to bead a bit and run off. I find that the CARC, will...
So here is the new panel getting ready to go in and make the interior even better! In addition, I will be installing a newer Air Shift Front Axle switch, and adding a Green lens to it. I'll get some pics up upon completion. Almost there, just some loose ends that need time to complete
